Review Of The Brightside Resorts Tirthan A Riverside Hotel

Not so good . Property location was wonderful. But they are not maintaining hotel room and service to guest very well . There are lots of potential in property. I am surprised why the hotel owner is not bothered about the feedback from visitors . There are little bit things that could easily change and make a big impact on visitors mind .

As you enter you are welcomed with a dirty sitting place, with dead flies all over. There is no proper reception so don’t expect to be served with water after a long drive. Cleanliness was not maintained in the rooms. The bed sheet had holes and the pillow covers were stained. Hand towels were not provided. Walls were not clean. There weren’t many dishes in the breakfast and it was served in dirty casseroles . There were flies all around. The place was unhygienic, not maintained and the staff were unprofessional. If there was an option I would’ve given 0 out of 5 stars. I strongly recommend Make My Trip to blacklist this property.

Location 10/10. List of best things stops here ! Room maintenance poor. Door locks get stuck. Drawer handles come in your hand. Nails pouting from chairs. Carpets smelling Food very average Breakfast spread is the worst we have ever had !!!. Same poha everyday. Soggy uncooked parantha & thats all Worst part still remains,,,,, BED BUGS BITE YOU & YOUR ITCHY LESIONS KEEP REMINDING YOU FOR THE NEXT 7-8 DAYS OR MORE

Location is deep in Tirthan valley, nice property location on Road with sufficient parking space. Rooms are Okayish. Toilets are small and tight. Eating area is good. property front towards river is okay. Staff is polite and respectful. Service and food is good. Safe and recommended for couples and families.

Property location was very good but the rooms and washrooms are not properly maintained. Also please try to avoid include buffet in the stay as they will serve you cold and very limited items. It is better to order from menu rather than taking buffet. The staff also was not polite and has a hell lot of attitude.

Worse food Horrible behaviour of staff

The location of the hotel is really beautiful—feels like you’re staying right by the riverbed, surrounded by nature. However, getting there is a real challenge. The roads leading to the property are in very poor condition, which makes the journey quite difficult, especially if you're not in an SUV. While the hotel is priced like a premium stay, the basic amenities are completely missing. There’s no drinking water provided in the room, no soap or toiletries in the bathroom, and even towels aren’t placed—you have to keep asking the staff for everything. We had booked the room for 3 people and paid an extra ₹1000 for it, but they didn’t even provide an additional mattress or bedding, which was very disappointing. The food, although they offer a decent variety, lacks flavor and doesn’t live up to expectations at all. It’s not worth what you’re paying. The staff is polite and responsive, which is probably the only positive thing I can say, but they’re clearly working with limited resources. Also, please don’t go by the list of amenities shown . Many of them are not available or are misleading. For example, the listing mentions bonfire as one of the offerings, but once you’re there, they ask for ₹1500 extra for it—something that’s usually included or complimentary at other similar stays. In short, while the location is serene and offbeat, the poor infrastructure, lack of basic hospitality standards, and unexpected extra charges really spoil the experience. Wouldn’t recommend unless these issues are fixed.

the property has so much potential but its not maintained. the rooms are not spacious and are not well maintained. not that clean, but very average.. everything is very average. not worth the money at all. carpets in the room were very very dirty . floor creaks when u walk on it. bathroom was still ok . service and food were horrendous . only veg cutlet and french fries were good. noodles , chilly paneer, crispy corn were not edible . other thing was that 90 % things werent available. i asked for chicken tikka... chicken was frozen at that time... asked for ice bucket , that was not available. asked for pizza... pizza base wasnt available... it was hilarious and sad at the same time. but i must say that the location was fantastic. the deck is overlooking the river n its a sight to behold. you can chill on the deck n enjoy bonfire n some music in the evening. that was the best part.

Lovely property with breathtaking views. Friendly staff and very helpful. Food cooked was par excellence.

This is the best place in the valley. Right on the river bed, beautiful location and well lit. The rooms are a bit off, but manageable. They offer good food, warm water all the time, great hospitality and lovely staff. Please remember that it's a valley and has its own challenges, so don't expect prompt room service and 24 hours in room dining. Overall an awesome place that brings you close to the nature. I travelled with family, including my senior citizen parents and it went truly well.

The place was at amazing location but had terrible rooms with no maintenance and dirty beddings

We had a booking for yesterday and today at The Bright Side Resorts ,Yesterday I checked into the hotel at about 5 pm. I was shocked to see that even after prior information of my arrival was provided , 1. The wooden floor was dirty 2.there wasn't any toiletries or towels, water, drinking glass,cups present inside the room. 3.the curtain was broken nd there were stains nd hand prints of the previous customer on it. 4.on every pillow cover was dirty with hairs present on it of previous customer Both main nd add on bed) 5. bedsheet was dirty.(Both main nd add on bed) 6 . The lock on the bathroom door was broken 7. The wardrobes were dirty from the inside and the drawers were broken . A safe was inside the wardrobe which attached with tape to keep it intact. 8. The dustbin hadn't been emptied. 9. The surroundings of the property was dirty with broken stairs( there were false tiles which could make a person fall down if not careful ), leaking roofs and waste was strewn all around consisting of liquor bottles and plastic packets After informing them the manager fixed the curtain changed the pillow cover . Today I was provided the complimentary water after waking for it three times. I booked the best and the most premium room the property had to offer. After driving for 14 hrs. I was provided such a room despite having booked a premium room for the purpose of relaxation and enjoyment ( which obviously didn't happen in this trip).

The Brightside resort is beautiful, the location is absolutely stunning. Overall it was a comfortable stay and great time I had. The staff behaviour and other services are pretty good. Great Resort , memorable time.

The food, amenities, and services are very poor; the only good point is its location.

I found this place on mmt. All over experience is great, i love the place, food and view. Staff is so nice and polite. I would like to thank you to all the staff, chef and manager to make our trip more memorable. Thank you so much.

Property location is very good they have parking space, kitchen, and access to the river. Room. Size is good all rooms have very good river view and balcony. Food is also okay but breakfast should have more quality
