Review Of Tanshikar spice farm/ Tanshikar rest house

The stay is average. Cottage was not clean, dusty and spider webs be-hid the cot. Food was also average. Basic chawal and dal. And that too they charge 350rs for veg and 550rs for non veg. We could find better food nearby for less cost. All these can be a different experience for foreigners but not for indians. The only good thing was the two staffs, deepesh and sooraj. They were very attentive. And one more thing, savri waterfall and bubbling lake is in close proximity.

We stayed in the cottage. The accommodation was great, with the window view directly to the jungle. Stuff was very friendly and the food was tasty.

Tanshikar Farm house spread over 25 acres was a great experience not to be missed in Netravali, sanguem (south Goa). They do offer a set of activities like trek to a waterfall nearby, complete farm house tour and also explain in detail how they grow the spices in organic manner, the lady who explained us did a great job spending almost an hour and half . Also there is an e biking to the nearest surrounded village. If you are spending only one night, try to reach this place by checkin time to give yourself enough time for these activities . We reached there by afternoon 3:30 and had our lunch and went for e-biking near the surrounding village. Next day did our trek and got our farm house tour. Also you can buy spices produced in their farm. The lunch/breakfast/dinner we had there was also very satisfying home cooked style food . It was a delightful time we had in the farm house. Highly recommended. Gem of a place.

Stayed in a wonderful wooden cottage, which was well appointed. I would have expected a better mattress. ( i was in nutmeg cottage ) also missing was a fridge / mini-bar and a phone / intercom. Since the accommodations are spread out far and wide on the large property, it would have been good to have those 2 amenities. Other than that, nothing to complain about at all. It was an amazing experience and i would go back again, if i had the opportunity.

It was decent and comfortable to stay. The staff was so good and helpful. The room was so spacious and comfortable. The location was also peaceful and calm. The cleanliness and facilities were super. I will recommend the property to others.
