I recently visited Streamedge Resort in Sakleshpur as a solo traveler, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and a peaceful ambiance surrounded by lush greenery. The stay was incredibly comfortable — the cottages are well-maintained, spacious, and designed to blend seamlessly with nature. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the cool misty mornings was absolutely rejuvenating, making it a perfect escape from the city chaos. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The in-house restaurant served a delicious variety of local Malnad cuisine. Every meal was freshly prepared and felt like a home-cooked delight. The dining area itself offers scenic views that enhance the overall experience — eating amidst nature was truly a treat. Streamedge also offers a range of activities that kept me engaged throughout my stay. I explored the plantation trails, joined a short trek to a nearby waterfall, and spent my evenings enjoying the bonfire sessions. Good food, but room was stinking, play area was dusty and dirty, rest all everything was fine

It is such a beautiful stay, away from the city hush. We loved the hospitality especially sindhu, she was very courteous and helpful. Loved the food and the fun activities. The karoke was fun.

1. Food is very basic and pathetic yet the buffet cost is rs 500. 2. There is no rule/policy in this homestay, whoever have paid more will be given all the rights. 3. Zero maintenance of the property. Indoor game room was actually outdoor and it was full of mud/dust. 4. Check-in is as per the previous guest mood, if they tend to wait for lunch then the owner will charge them and make us wait. Win win situation for the owner. 5. The owner told us lie so that we upgrade to wooden cottage but actually the basic rooms like deluxe cottage is far more maintained. The bathroom of wooden cottage which is the most premium suite is layered with cheap plastic in the bathroom so that wood doesn’t get wet. This is how we shall pay 7-8k for and they provide us this. 6. No one to take care of the property in a proper way, mostly people are on call and try to manage along with the security. 7. Lots of insects and mosquitos as the property is not maintained at all. 8. No entertainment medium in the room. We were left with no choice, either we sit in open cafeteria to watch something in cold and mosquitos or just be in the room without tv or any sort of entertainment. The reason abt not having tv was that they want every guest to collaborate which is just a simple way to invest less and earn more.

The property is located at very beautiful place where you can enjoy the nature & rejuvenate yourself. I liked the food and acilities provided : food preferences was asked and food was tasty. Bonefire. Trekking. There are water, adventures activities and indoor games available. Property is beautifully designed and decorated

We travel-led to stream-edge homestay with the intention to relax, and we were not disappointed. We were able to locate the property easily from directions in google maps. There was ample space for open parking inside the property. The property has a lot of greenery both inside and surrounding it. We spent a lot of time watching and listening to birds and insects. The host and staff were very helpful and kept checking with us for any service or activities we wanted. We spent some time walking on the rope bridge and splashing into the stream from the zipline. The food was delicious and lot of options were there, specially for vegetarians. We travel-led as couple, had a great experience and will definitely recommend to our friends!

Property need to perhaps improve on the wifi strength in the rooms and room tariff can be a tad bit lower. Perhaps promotors can give options for adding activities or meal plan with the room rent

Very nice property located in idyllic surrounding of paddy fields, stream and greenery. The cottages are nice, the service staff were very friendly, prompt and helpful. The property has amazing views and nice playground for kids as well. Food was also good and tasty. Overall very enjoyable stay, wish had stayed longer, our family had a great time(except for the back breaking road to sakleshpur which is in complete state of disrepair)

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a peaceful weekend, in nature's lap. Great hospitality and extremely scenic place.

Wonderful experience staying at streamedge. Located beside stream n near paddy fields, the place looks gorgeous during monsoon. Tasty food n neat rooms. Highly recommended.

It was like mini switzerland with nature all around

A nice location, but the rooms could be better designed and maintained. Toilets badly designed and maintained with leaky old taps and fittings. Rooms and toilets with cob b webs, windows with out mosquito mesh, creeky shutters. Only 2 electrical sockets one for fan and one for mosquito repellent. Even to charge one of your cell you need disconnect either fan of mosquito repellent. Curtious but untrained staff. Owner or senior staff absent. Food was fairly good. Overall good facility badly managed.

One of the best homestays or resorts i have stayed so far. The location is perfect for every agre group, be it families, couples or large group. The gardens are well maintained and beautiful. The place has a nice stream on one side a beautiful paddy field on the other side. The location is very easy to find on go-ogle map and easily accessible. Though they call themselves a homestay, it is nothing short of a resort. The hospitality, staff, restaurant and garden are well maintained. They kept us busy with lot of activities like zip line, mud volley ball, trampoline, rope walk, indoor games and above all, they take you for a morning and evening trek which is a must do. Evenings are quite fun with karaoke, music, ipl match on big screen and dinner was quite delicious, especially the fish fry. Overall, only regret was i should have booked for 2 nights to enjoy more. Sure to visit streamedge again with a bigger group. Thank you sindhu for the great hospitality.

Had an amazing time at the stream edge. Everything in this property right from clean rooms, homely and tasty food, hospitality and facilities deserve a 5-star rating. It also has a beautiful small stream inside the property. They have a lot or indoor and outdoor activities, they also take you for morning and evening trek, a must-visit. Beautiful sunset and an early morning walk in the mountains. Overall Streamedge is highly recommended.
