I had booked Star Desert Camp based on the good Google reviews, but my experience was quite disappointing. The tents were not well maintained and were open on the sides, which felt unsafe as insects or even snakes could easily enter. Cleanliness was very poor, and the food quality was below average. The only good part was the cultural program, which was enjoyable, and the staff were polite and respectful.

Terrible Stay
worst too worst experience, no amenities, zero service, not good food, terrible tent, No fan No AC No collar. Seriously do not book here never.

Excellent staffs , child friendly service.
This place is very nice in all aspects. The staffs here are very supportive. This stay was child freindly. We visited here with family along with 2 children and received all the necessary support by the staffs here. The location of the property is also very good. Night Program was also nice. If you've not book camel ride, desert safari or night star view then you may book directly from this property they charge genuine price for these all services. I highly recommend this place for families with kids.

worst experience with makemytrip
I had a terrible experience with the Jaisalmer camp booked through MakeMyTrip. The hotel was extremely unhygienic, with a lot of mosquitoes and poor cleaning standards. Despite the conditions, they refused to provide a refund, even though their policy clearly stated that cancellations were allowed with a refund. I am deeply disappointed by the service and the false promises made. This experience has left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I would not recommend this camp or MakeMyTrip to anyone.

Terrible Stay
- worst experience. - pathetic food - no hygeine - dirty washrooms - limited food options - rude staff behaviour - un-professional staff. - poor dj sound - poor dance performance - poor sitting arrangements - poor snacks - very dirty - towel, bedsheet, quilt. Dont waste your money by staying here. Dont go to the photos.

Dear Sir. You did not even check in, you stayed at some other property and you are asking for a refund and the property does not have a refund policy on same days.
Good Stay
service is awesome and hospitality is at its best. mr. vishal is very cooperative and staff is also very supportive. however, few things to be improved as like, hot water is available for only few hours in morning (with the winter at its peak in jaisalmer, temperature is around 5°-7°, it's really very important to have 24 hr hot water availability), another thing to be improved is bed and linen quality, also towels and other facilities can be improved for overall. rest, it's really an amazing place to stay. highly recommended. 👍🏻

Good Stay
We reached the camp around 3pm on 9th jan 25. The camp manager and staff are very cooperative and i was given the luxury of choosing a tent of my choice. Basic amenities are there and the washroom was excellent for a tent. The linen could have been cleaner. Food was okay. The best part was the bonfire accompanied with cultural program. Overall a satisfactory experience.

Average Stay
Good morning. Actually we had a bad experience on 1st day of stay. Got different property than shown. Dirty washroom, no chair table in room, torn bedsheets. But after complaining on next day, we have been shifted to a good property and that was good one.. Rest everything was fine.

Awesome stay in star desert cam
family1. The location of this camp is good in front of the desert. 2. People there are really helpfull 3. Tent were in good condition 4. Luxury tents are awesome 5. Dj night was awesome 6. Evening snacks were good (onion fritters)with coffee or tea 7. Dinner was awesome. Including dal bati churma 8. Camp location is near to a petrol pump and punture shop. 9. Overall the stay was awesome in this camp.

Horrendous stay at star desert cameo
familyThe camp was very dirty on the inside with bare minimum facilities. The sheets and pillows were dirty. The camp walls were stained with paan spit. The eatery was very mediocre and there were no facilities for sober people it was just a mess in general. The price doesn't even come close to justifying the facilities available and it should've been at-least ten times less. Would not recommend for anyone, book something better even if it has higher price and stay away from this.

Average Stay
Though the location is good it is managed by unprofessional locals. Toilets are avg and indian and western toilet is combined. I took swiss tent which us avg avg to the coat i paid for it. Cultural program is very nice and we enjoyed 31st. Food is also very avg and breakfast is even worst. Over all very avg experience may be due to 31st rush. But there are much better options available nearby
