Good facilities, neat and clean rooms, and a complimentary buffet breakfast with nice options starting at 7:30 am. . Enough parking space. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay . Must Mention clearly snacks kept in the room are chargeable.

Ambiance and room was good and food is good but only breakfast foods always was average and check in and check out is smooth. Recommend

The stay was comfortable, spacious room and balcony. The service in the restaurant is slow but the quality and taste is good.

Stay was superbbbbbb. Room was classic. Not much share about any active places. But spacious outdoor as well. Food was Good but expected great.

We are staying every year here from past 4 years, Quality has been decreased. Bathrooms were not that clean and towels need replacement. Bed spread was also looking bit old.

Good hotel and amenities interaction with customers was poor from staff

Just to mention that Davanagere city has many premium accommodations, but tariff at southern star is double of all other accommodations with same quality and service...I really recommend reduction in tariff by at 40%to50% would make it excellent.

The electrical wiring in the rooms need to be checked/ audited. Power gets interrupted too frequently. staff needs training. Supervision seems to be lacking.

A nice hotel to stay for leisure with family or for business trip. Spacious rooms, excellent food. Hotel staff is very polite. Also location is inside the city and easy to locate.Overall an excellent stay with family.

To find such a class hotel in davanagere was a pleasant surprise. Excellent rooms, wonderful restaurant, breakfast spread and warm crew made our stay memorable. Sure to return during the next trip.

Our stay was decent, the room was spacious n clean, the toilet was clean, but you cannot tell this hotel is a 5star category. I give it a 3 to 4 star rating. The food was tasty but most of the dishes mentioned in the menu was not available. The waiters at the restaurant were not trained for the job at all, it looks like they hv just recruited some random people without proper qualifications n experience. Before concluding i hv to mention a 4. 5* rating for the chef!.

Had put up at southern star last weekend with friends, i’ve stayed here earlier too. By far the best hotel in dvg. Clean, hygienic & well maintained rooms food is good as well. Highly recommended
