Just to mention that Davanagere city has many premium accommodations, but tariff at southern star is double of all other accommodations with same quality and service...I really recommend reduction in tariff by at 40%to50% would make it excellent.

Our stay was decent, the room was spacious n clean, the toilet was clean, but you cannot tell this hotel is a 5star category. I give it a 3 to 4 star rating. The food was tasty but most of the dishes mentioned in the menu was not available. The waiters at the restaurant were not trained for the job at all, it looks like they hv just recruited some random people without proper qualifications n experience. Before concluding i hv to mention a 4. 5* rating for the chef!.
