The staff at Shalom Beach Residency are wonderful. The beachfront location is stunning and ensured a relaxing, memorable getaway.

Room was supposed accommodate 3 people but the space was small for the extra mattress. Toilet was dirty when we arrived and only 1 water bottle was in the room. Lock on the door was jammed. One good thing is that the caretaker was always available and immediately. The breakfast was good. The location itself is on a side road near the flyover. It gets dark at night and the road is very narrow. Keep that in mind while booking solo. Access to beach was easy and worth it. But the beach is easily accessible by road nearby so staying at a hotel for the access is not necessary.

Beach facing property, stunning views, Food was fantastic, owner is super friendly and his hospitality is something that needs to be admired, there is not even a single con I can think of and coming to the price it's the best for the view and service you get. They arranged a shikara ride as well

we love to stay here, it is Seaview property, so it was very amazing view from balcony and walking distance to the alleppey beach, manager was kind nature, he suggested very good veg restaurant name aarya, and also booked tuk tuk for going there, breakfast was also good. I definitely recommend this property to stay..😀👍

Nice view of beach, with hammock and swing seat on sand. Included breakfast had fruits and choice of South Indian (which was delicious) or continental breakfast (which my son chose). The staff were very friendly and helpful and even offered to go to the local restaurant for me to grab takeaway food as we weren’t able to get out. He didn’t even charge me for the multiple bottles of mineral water I asked for. The room was clean and had a TV we were able to plug my iPad into. We checked out a bit late and they didn’t even mention it. All in all a lovely stay. If you stay here check out Wakey Wakey cafe a few doors away that has the most amazing food especially if you like healthy food!

It was very pleasant to stay at shalom beach residency. The beach is very clean as well as very near from the residency about 100 mtrs. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was clean. Staff was very polite. Breakfast provided from them was very tasty. I am very satisfied from this location.

Staff is friendly and helpful. But water in the rooms is slightly funky smelling and yellow colored. The staff mentioned that the municipal water has a lot of Chlorine and can make hair fall so they use ground water hence the color. Property has its own private beach facing area and property is adjacent to beach and 15 mins walking distance from lighthouse

The homestay is a quaint three-story building offering two rooms per floor. Its location is advantageous for beach access and scenic views. However, the entryway to the property is quite narrow, only allowing for two-wheeler traffic. Guests with cars must use a nearby unkept, littered plot of land for parking, which is done at their own discretion. The rooms and bathrooms are in need of some upkeep. Additionally, there was an issue with drainage water leaking from pipes near the staircase leading to the first floor. While the homestay does not feature a restaurant, it does have a kitchen capable of preparing tea and light snacks. For more substantial meals, guests can order from local hotels or utilize food delivery services. The hosts are notably accommodating, with samuel's hospitality standing out as particularly commendable. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free.

Blanket was burnt. Paid for extra bed. But sheet was not provided utill asked. Tea coffee was provided as per their timing that reminded me of my hostel time. Tv was available but not working. Should for 500 to 700. But not worth it.

Nice place. 300 away from alpappy beach. Family members enjoyed that place. Homely breakfast. Calm and quiet place

Awesome stay. Nice owner. Just a 2 mins walk from the beach. Had a great delicious breakfast and the owner arranged all the sight seeing activities and a shikara ride as well.
