Review Of Sea View Hotel ( A beach resort - Alibaug )

DONOT BOOK THIS PLACE. Room had Bedbugs all over. Power cuts were so frequent, AC was not working, washroom was dirty.

The condition of the room was pathetic, there were hardly any windows in the room, the lock on the bathroom door was broken, so we could not lock the bathroom door, the lights in the room were not functional, the water pressure was extremely low and the water taps and shower were also not working properly

They charge ridiculously high prices and fool people with false promises. Nothing they told us during booking was true once we reached. The rooms were filthy, stinking, and completely unhygienic. The swimming pool was dirty and disgusting — it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The so-called “cleaning” staff clearly don’t care at all, as the bathrooms and bedsheets were in pathetic condition. This hotel is not just overpriced, it’s a rip-off. The management only cares about looting customers and has zero interest in providing even basic hospitality. Worst experience ever – avoid this place at all costs if you don’t want your trip ruined.

The property's location was exceptional. It was nestled in a serene and picturesque setting, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The surrounding area was lush with perfect view and provided breathtaking views from every angle. The accessibility to nearby attractions and landmarks was convenient, making it an ideal base for exploring the region. Despite its tranquil setting, the property was easily reachable by road, and ample parking space was available.

The location of the Property is VERY GOOD, The view from my room was Excellent. However apart from the above mentioned NOTHING is GOOD ABOUT the Property, few among the lot of BAD HIGHLIGHTS are FOOD Pathetic, Room Service Awful, Reception Service Worst, Cleanliness Eweeee, Wash Room Filthy...! Etc etc etc. Not worth the Amount you pay for this in this amount we could get a much better room in any Normal Guest House

Subject: Disappointing Experience with Room Quality and Unethical Pricing. I recently booked a stay at Sea View , and I must express my deep dissatisfaction with the overall experience—particularly in terms of room quality and pricing transparency. The room allotted to me (Room 107) was far below the expected standard, especially considering the rate per night that I paid. The ambience, upkeep, and overall condition of the room were subpar and not at all reflective of what one would reasonably expect at that price point. I have attached photographs to support my observations. To add to the disappointment The only redeeming aspect of the stay was the hotel staff, who were courteous, polite, and prompt in their service. However, the overall experience—particularly the value for money—was disappointing. I hope you take this feedback seriously and look into this matter. I would appreciate a response and some form of resolution.

Good ambiance, clean rooms, best service and support from staff. I would highly recommend this place to stay for vacation. A good beach view is available.

Not that great. It doesnt worth the price. No cleanliness, only 1 water bottle has been provided by them for a couple for a day. No kettle nothing...

Property location is adjacent to beach . From gallery amazing view of sea waves .my family is very much happy after looking hotel location and room

We recently stayed at the sea view hotel. My one line review is it is not worth it at all. We had a really bad experience with overall stay. While the location is definitely enticing, but the stay experience is equally bad. To begin with, the Hotel intercom did not work, the doorbell did not work. On top of it the mobile network inside room is very poor. The bedsheets were soiled. There were mosquitoes. The towel provided had lint all over. They don’t provide any tissue papers and are very adamant about it. One light in corridor always remained ON. TV is of no use as WiFi is very feeble and slow. In-room dining options are very limited especially for vegetarians. The cutlery is not clean and they don’t manage it or serve it professionally. My overall experience has been very poor and it has been highly overpriced . So my genuine recommendation is not to opt for this hotel for your Alibag trip. We recently stayed at the sea view hotel. cleaning was not soo good.. low maintenance. swimming pool was good. exterior was good. . sea view was good..

I was initially disappointed with my stay and would have given a terrible review. The room didn't meet basic standards, especially considering the price. The reception staff wasn't helpful in addressing our concerns. The room's cleanliness was also subpar, which was alarming since I was traveling with my 1-year-old son. However, after contacting and speaking with the hotel owner, Anvi, our issues were promptly addressed. She offered to move us to a different room, provided a late checkout, and even waived the checkout bill. I want to thank Anvi for her swift action and friendly demeanor, which saved our trip from being a disaster. While the hotel owner was excellent, I believe the room prices are steep and should be reconsidered.

Stay was not upto the mark. Room was not much clean and balcony was not clean at all

The worst experience of my life. We arrived to be informed at reception that our booking had been cancel-led by the hotel as no rooms available. She said this with a smiley face! i had no notification of this as had been travel-ling to hotel that morning and had no internet signal in car so had not received any notification about cancellation. Hotel staff extremely rude. Finally they said had one room available but pay extra as upgrade. I had no choice and agreed. It was 30 dc and every where was likely to be full and i was a total stranger to the area. We were shown to our room. Immediately arrived in the room to get me to sign a form for access payment. We had not even settled in the room. I found her extremely unprofessional and rude. I now had internet and had recd email about room cancellation but i had been travel-ling at time email was sent. Also received email that i will not have to pay access but will pay it. They both talked over eachother and i finally understood they said i was not answering my calls. I checked my phone and saw no calls. Perhaps my uk number was not accepting india calls. A puzzling mystery. gave me her phone on which i spoke to a gentleman He was very polite and informed me i didn't have to pay access as will do that. It took some time for this to be understood. She had come to collect the balance with her daughter, who explained to her mother balance will be paid. Finally they left the room. I was mentally exhausted by all this. Earlier our passports were collected for hotel records. When we asked for these back were told to come later as drawer was locked. We did not want to go out without our passports so decided to wait in reception. They were discussing to hold our passports until payment received. Finally we got our passports and went out for dinner. On return was informed that payment not received and they are expecting us to pay it. She was very aggressive. Shouting etc. Her mother came and we left them both discussing the issue. We had a restless night. Finally they received email and they were happy. Hotel had indicated sea-facing room available at time of booking days before. They must have realised the charge was low and not new year eve rates so then cancel booking. Extra charge was later forced on us. kindly honored the access payment which hotel is calling an 'upgrade. This is a con. Hotel owners are very unethical. Zero marks for facilities, cleanliness, health and safety, customer service. It is less than 1-star hotel.

Hotel is right opposite to the beach having clean rooms with pool but need sum renovation. Inhouse outsource resturant is average but can be order thru zomato

Location is excellent. Room charges are very high as per facility. Needs improvement in terms of service, facility and hygiene
