Review Of SaffronStays | Riverdale 4 BHK Pool Villa

To start with, I didn't feel that the stay was of Saffron Stays. It felt like a rented villa. Let's get into details 1. The pool was dirty. To elaborate, the entire pool floor was later of mud. Not even cleaned. There was cigarette bud in the side water area of the pool (none of my group members smoke) 2. The pool is only 2.5 feet. Had we known this we wouldn't have opted for the property. 3. The lunch was good, all the meals later disappointed. Specially the evening snacks (excessive salt, potato pakodas were less in quantity) Dinner was okay. Breakfast was horrible, sabudana khichdi wasn't edible. 4. There were insects the entire time. Even though we wanted to sit in the balcony, we couldn't. Moreover they were entering the rooms and the sitting areas 5. There was no dustbin in the washroom 6. The jacuzzi wasn't functional. It was as good as any other bath tub 7. The light in the ground floor washroom was flickering 8. The service wasn't "saffronstays" service that should have been received

Very average amenities at the villa , Average food options and taste(5/10).. Insects all over the place, no electricity for whole night, swimming pool is 10 mins walk from the property... Not recommended to stay for families good for boys group basic necessities not available in 10 km vicinity staff is cooperative but helpless to action the situation at times..

it was remote property and kitchen was without any stuffs in it. Swimming pool is around 400 meters away from the place. Jakuzi is non functional. music box doesn't had mic. main issue is good food, as you will not find any other restaurants within 30 min drive making it very in convenient. Even I booked stay for 9 people , property manager took the extra charge for one person that too 2500 (very high). Lavasa itself is dead City now days, still if you want to wonder, you can go for road trip, but stay is not recommended.

We stayed at this villa for a team outing, and overall, it was a good experience. Pros: the view from the villa was stunning, with a dam and hills in sight. You can enjoy both sunrise and sunset here. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food were tasty and well-prepared. Extra mattresses provided were clean and comfortable. The rooms and washrooms were clean and well-maintained. There was a music system and enough space for dancing, which added to the fun. The caretaker was cooperative, allowed us a late check-out, and did not impose any restrictions during our stay. Cons: the villa is in a very isolated area with absolutely nothing nearby. You need to carry all essentials with you. The swimming pool was small and located far from the villa. Although it is marketed as an "entire bhk villa" kitchen access was restricted to staff only. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with scenic views, this villa is a great choice, but make sure to plan and pack everything you might need in advance

The property is good. The swimming pool is outside the property. The location and surroundings are nice.

Positive points- 1. Property cleaning is excellent 2. Staff behaviour, support and response are excellent. 3. Property nature view is excellent. 4. Food quality is very good. 5. Good destination for family( if you prefer to go to lavasa) negative - 1. Nothing to buy nearby. Only access to lavasa (7 km from property) 2. Swimming pool away from property. 3. Swiming pool depth is too low. Not for adult. Good for kids. 4. Lights are not adequate at the swimming pool.

Loved the location. Amazing views of the dam backwater and mountains. Surroundings are tranquil and peaceful. Property is well furnished and has power backup which is essential in remote areas. In our opinion it is comparatively a little expensive. The property, which is essentially a 4 bedroom bungalow, is managed / serviced by a caretaker and staff hired locally. They are not professionals and therefore lack discipline and finesse that one expects in this price range. For example, the rooms had an electric kettle but no cups or tea / coffee satches. They had towels but no napkins etc. They had TV with Tata Play set top box but no charge etc. However the real downside for us was the food. The food packages are quite expensive for what they're offering. The menu options are limited and it's taste and quality are average. The food menu brochure mentioned desserts as well but none was served during any of the meals. For veg meal in the evening they served a very dry Besan Pithla. When we complained about no other option, the left over veg dish from afternoon was offered. There were hardly any chicken pieces in the chicken curry served at dinner. For non veg breakfast, a single egg tiny omlette with two slices of bread were served. This is definitely not worth when you charge plus taxes per person per day for a breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner package.

Stay is good but pool is too far n lavasa is not a hill station now. The caretaker was good n rooms were good

Villa - villa is in very good condition. Rooms are neat & clean. Perfect view of backwater from balcony. You can enjoy morning sun rise while sipping coffee. Pool- its private, shallow, clean & situated little far away from property. Vehicle access is available, but restricted to 4x4 suv as road is incomplete. Food - you can cook food. Fully fledged kitchen is available. However, property is far away from city area, you need to spend some extra bugs to get food delivered. Overall we enjoyed a lot! go for it.

Pool was not clean at all and cook was also not there so food was not served

Not good pool is too bad not maintained no lights price is not worth it no hall in the bungalows.

Stayed for 2 days in this beautiful villa. Excellent location and clean. Just behind villa is big panshet backwaters.

Location and view is awesome. Bit far away from lavasa city. Swimming pool should have been attached with house.
