Superb food. 10 am checkout is too early for a holiday destination.

The property looks great but for the money one would've expected a bit more luxurious stay not damp towels and rooms.

Overall, it was a good experience. The caretaker, Santosh, was very friendly and cooperative. The food was great — completely homemade. However, a few things I didn’t like were the minimal power backup, issues with the Wi-Fi, and the presence of insects inside the room.

The property is excellent. Located amid-st the forest it's completely private and away from the buzz of the market. The rooms are well maintained and the view from rooms is pure nature. Care takers are polite and well mannered. The downside is the food offered, while it costs around 700 per person it's not upto the mark in terms of taste and authencity. We had ordered parsi menu but the food was average. Good thing is the care takers make it fresh in the kitchen and hygiene is maintained. There are some books and board games available in the living room. Overall the experience was good. Recommended if you want to spend some quality time in nature and relax.

Beautiful and peaceful, tucked away from the noise and crowds, the experience at parsi manor was wonderful. The ambience and the home cooked meals was like the icing on the cake.

an old charm bungalow tucked away from the hustle bustle of the crowd in the market place in matheran. the rooms are simple with basic amenities. there is no tv in the property nor any ac. the caretaker santosh and his wife are friendly and efficient. you will have to inform them regarding the meals in advance. the food they offer is delicious and wifi is fast and stable. the property is located more towards southern part of matheran and it is a good 12-15 min walk from the market place/ railway station. there are some sightseeing points in 15 min walking distance from the property. however the biggest challenge is reaching matheran as from dasuri parking one has option of horse (500-600- per head; hand drawn rickshaw (1000-1200/head; eauto (35/ head, train or by walk. by walk is around 50-60 min. e-autos are very limited and one may have to wait 1 hr to 1.5 hr in queue. train tickets are almost impossible to get. further the telephone coverage is quite poor in matheran

Property and caretakers were superb, it's a beautiful and well maintained bungalow. Home cooked food was great too

I got to see the paradise flycatcher and the giant squirrel from my window. Worth the money. Wifi and network are very choppy.

The manor is perfect for a weekend getaway and the caretaker is really very sweet. The food he cooked for us was very homely. The manor is in walking distance with the market. Overall a perfect stay.

The stay was pleasant, the house was beautiful, but the food was average, we asked for parsi cuisine and it was completely bland.

This villa was excellent and well-maintained. Its isolated location in the jungle gives amazing vibes. The 130-year-old parsi-style villa has a great vintage feel. I think it's the best place to stay in matheran.

The property is located in a lovely, peaceful area surrounded by greenery, away from the busy market. It's centrally located, making it easily accessible to other areas. The hospitality was good overall. However, they do not have a common restroom, so when we checked out and later needed to use the facilities, we were denied access.

Property location is of good. However there much of rule book of do and don't. We have paid extra for additional person but there was no proper sleeping arrangements for third person.

The property has a old charm look and is meant for people who want spend quality time with near and dear ones. Food is good through priced on higher side. Rooms are spacious and clean. Electricity goes quite often but generator is there. Very secluded place away from crowd.
