Review Of Rippon Mount resorts

The location is good but the approach road conditions are very bad. Rooms are good but cleanliness can be improved. The swimming pool is not maintained properly. Everyday breakfast is served with the same type of food, at least they should serve some boiled egg.

Very nice good property with good staff. Feel like they need to improve the maintenance little more to compete with other places

Resort was okay, staff were also nice but the food was pathetic. The way to reach the resort was also miserable.

The location was awesome, the staff are so friendly specially the manager is so nice person. The room was spacious and clean.

Rooms dont have enough privacy. Had to call multiple times for hot water. Bathroom were not clean. Pool not cleaned properly. But staffs were friendly and helpful.

The stay was comfortable, the rooms had a great view, with cleanliness, the service was pretty good with staff being genuinely friendly and helpful, just that it's homestay mixed with resort facilities, so it's hard to expect them to be available all the times of 24 hours. All this at an affordable price, overall it's a recommendable location.

Property is situated away from main road and it is kind of an offbeat location. You will get a scenic valley view from the property. Neatly maintained. Breakfast was good, served puttu with kadala curry, dosa, bread jam and fruits. Staffs were courteous. Only this is, reaching them on phone for any rooms service was difficult as they didn't pick phones in the morning for coffee

Of-course the location is mesmerising, and cherry on the top is the team is very friendly and cooperative. Hospitality at its best.

The location was nice, but the room was not well maintained. Even though we did a late check-in, still the room was not cleaned, the waste was still lying in the room.

This was my first day at Wayanad trip. I booked some other resort. But due to operational issue MMT arranged this property as an alternate. First of all Reaching this resort is adventures. I don't know how MMT allows these kind of resorts in their website. Pathetic road If you are driving hatchback car then gone case. My new BALENO got struck in mud in 2 -3 places. Its a remote place and you will not find any house/people to help in case you are in trouble. Its in a remote jungle. Second thing they serve very bad food. Fortunately we just stayed for 1 night otherwise I don't know what would have happened to my health. After dinner I started omitting and next day I got hospitalized in Mananthavady. Due to this resort we were not able to complete out Wayanad trip and had to return back to Bangalore after a day spent in Wayanad. Another thing is their swimming pool. It was full of insects. I don't know when was the last time they changes the water. If you are not able to provide basic facility like road and food just shut it down. Do not play with Travelers life.

This places is in a jungle with no Wi-Fi except in hotel lobby. There is no air-tel network coverage so unless you want to shut the world, you should look for other places. Our experience was bad more because of what MMT claims about this places on their website with Wi-Fi etc.

We have booked Valley View Cottage General:- 1) 2 from Rippon 52 bus-stop. Having bus connectivity from Kalpetta. 2) Resort was opened in the year 2007. Good:- 1) Fantastic View Point and those love nature will really Love it. 2) We have got complimentary breakfast and have ordered for Dinner. Both were nice and cannot have any negative comments on it. Restaurant won't stock up old items and serve. All items were freshly purchased once request is placed. 3) Room is spacious and comfortable for 4 members. 4) Most of the falls and sightseeing location is quite reachable if we have our own vehicle. Cons:- 1) Swimming Pool depth is not as expected. Depth is less than 5 Feet. 2) Water Heater is not available round the clock. 3) Bathroom Shower's is damaged in one room and same is not repaired. 4) There is no refreshment area for before and after swimming pool. So after swim, we need to directly go inside being wet.

The view from the room on the Balcony is average but there is a beautiful view of the waterfalls available outside the cottages and it is fabulous. The food is very economical and is excellent. The service is also very good. The property is little bit old about 12 years, so the cleanliness is a bit average and should be improved or renovated especially the washroom. Once again the food is excellent and at a very fair price. The manager who is always at our service also need a special mention.

The ambience was nice. However food wasn't good complementary breakfast was very minimal with just one or two options. There was a table fan so it was hot and no AC .. In TV most of the channels weren't there .. It was birthday for one if us and they cudnt even manage a candle fr us .. So overall I am unhappy with the stay based on the price. Thanks

Good stay over there. Location is the plus point. But the season we went was a spoiler. It was hot and there was no AC in the room. They provided us with extra fan, but we felt the heat anyways. Service was excellent. It would be better if they have AC in rooms.

Rippon Mount Resort is very nice resort. The valley view is amazing. We enjoyed our stay during Dec'16. The rooms are well maintained & resort restaurant food quality is really good. Staff is also very supportive. Resort is having private water falls and small kid playing zone.
