The family room was good. However, we were told that our preferred choice would be subject to availability, and we didn’t get the one we wanted. But the room we received was still nice. The bathroom tiles need some renovation. The room and bed were fine.
The service was quite slow—whenever we requested something, it took a long time to arrive. We had our meals outside the hotel.
We stayed for three nights. On the second night, I couldn’t sleep because the room next to ours was allocated to some guests who returned late at night. From 2:00 AM to 4:30 AM, there was continuous movement near our door, and the guests next door kept locking and unlocking their door repeatedly. In the morning, I asked about it and was told that some guests had arrived late at night, causing a disturbance for everyone.
I believe the hotel should strictly address such situations to avoid harming its reputation and disturbing other guests. During the day, I spoke to Sheru Ji at the reception about this issue, and he assured me that there would be no disturbance that night, as those guests had checked out. True to his word, the following night was peaceful, which I really appreciated.
Overall, if the hotel owner is reading this review, I would like to say that Phoenix Hotel is in a great location, but the service needs improvement. A good location should be complemented by good service.
