There is a canteen manager named Shekhar Roy I guess, his behavior is EXTREMELY rude. As per the indian law of hospitalization, every guest is entitled to regular drinking water (NOT MINERAL) he literally said "if you drink 10L of water everyday, we can't give it to you", and we only asked for a bottle of water and got this reply. He literally indicated that after 1 L daily free mineral water we can only buy mineral water or we can drink tap water directly from the tap, There is no option to provide regular drinking water when asked.
When ordered dinner at around 7 PM, he said like we cannot provide rice, this is not a hotel....and then not able to provide dinner if asked after 3 PM. I mean people can have network issues right?
Also they have a dinner menu which includes fried rice chowmin, chilli chicken, but when asked for it, even before 3 PM (which is their unsaid regulation for ordering dinner), None of the items were available, they said, we cannot provide anything in the dinner menu and we can order bengali thalis.
When we tried to order Chicken Pokoras (A listed item in their Evening Snacks Menu), They said not available!!!
There are a lot of good things about the place like food is really good and the cooking and housekeeping staff is really good. The rooms are really good and spacious.
But the canteen manager named Shekhar Roy, his behavior has undermined all the good things about the place and we were very disappointed.
