The place is quite overpriced for what it offers. The rooms are small, and since it's run as an Airbnb, there are no basic facilities on the property no food service, and outside food isn’t allowed in the rooms. It seems more geared toward foreign tourists who may not expect the usual amenities.
There is a café directly opposite the property, which is owned by the same people. The host directs guests there for meals, but the service is extremely slow waiting over an hour is the norm. Prices are unreasonably high (₹250 for a bottle of water, for example).
One thing to be aware of: the host tends to speak negatively about other nearby restaurants and cafés, which feels unnecessary and a bit off-putting.
The only real advantage is its location near Assi Ghat. Beyond that, the experience didn’t feel worth the money.

Dear Shivangi,
Thanks for your review. I was always there to assist, shall you had any problem you could have shared. Moreover, we do provide food in the house which you had it in Nilay House. We had made calls to you three days before arrival to inform you that you have booked a home stay and not a hotel and there is no room service and many other information abt property was shared. You agreed then and till check out, no problem. Problem arised when you took taxi services and did not pay, neither asked my driver that you have not paid and did not drop a message to us either. You also were not picking up my calls and you picked up call from another number after which you bargained on original price and then paid lesser than agreed. Then and there itself I expected this review. Your husband wrote about vengeance reply to other channels you have been tarnishing us, please note that we have no such feelings and writing such reviews about a property and business is an abuse to them and the efforts gone in serving you. Moreover, homestays are not meant for services that had been insited on in review, it is for personal touch, comfort, local life. Vedica Zen water has MRP of 125 x 2.
