Review Of Mystic Pangong

Very comfortable stay. The property is exactly as mentioned. The location is very good. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is very active and helpful. Good food options. The only concern is lack of room heater and wifi. Only if they could provide this, it will be the best property in Pangong.

Good place right in from of Pangong lake. We went when Pangong lake was very cold and due to lack of electricity at Pangong lake the room was very cold at night

Apart from the extra charges for room heating everything else was well taken care of. Excellent location anyways

Nice and Cozy Rooms at 14K feet, I think this is one of the good properties and not with too clustered hotels and rooms next to it, loved the staff which is very welcoming and always available for help and suggestions, the food is good and homely as well, The best part about it is clean toilet and rooms with a great view of pnagong tso

The property is very easy to find and has ample parking. Rooms are cosy, clean and well maintained. The staff is extremely hospitable and friendly. The owner, mr. Phunchuk welcomed us personally and was always ready to help us with our requests and queries. Rahul also let me use his phone to make an important call(only jio works here. Delicious home-style meal preparations were just what we needed after a lot of days of eating out. This is one of the few properties in the area which provides 24 hour electricity and water. The view of pangong ts o is breathtaking and is the cherry on the cake. The lake is visible right from your room. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced stay. Thanks

The location was excellent, and rahul was a great help, and the food was just amazing. However, i think the price could have been a little lower. Also, the garden area was filled with pebbles, which could be converted into a garden to improve its look.

My booking at mystic pangong was absolutely rushed and at last minute due to a route change caused by road being washed away by river, which meant that i had to find a place to stay overnight in pangong. Pangong mostly has not so great cottages which seem like they will fly away with the wind and zero safety. There are a few good home-stays but again not all facilities. This was the only place with good view, good facilities like 24x7 hot water and electricity, free toiletries, towels, personal lounge area outside room and within room, and good, attentive staff and mainly, safety. Special mention for stanzin who was one of the managing staff members- he is an ex-army guy who was very nice and seemed interested in photography too! there was no network in my or my driver’s phone so stanzin let me use his phone twice to call home and inform them. Also the food quality is very good and the quantity is a lot! they have a-la-carte menu and a simple dinner and breakfast buffet as well. They have a small store to sell water bottles, tissues, soft drinks, etc within a nice cozy dining area. Also amazing stargazing views if the sky is clear! you just need to be patient and wait - weather on the lake changes in minutes. Last but not the least, extremely safe for solo travellers, especially solo women travellers. Rooms: 5/5 | service: 5/5 | location: 5/5 rooms big, clean tidy rooms with all comfortable and luxurious amenities. In a remote place like this, thats a big deal! safety as a solo woman traveller, i felt extremely safe. Walkability 100m from the lake - the s**** is clean and outside the typical tourist viewing areas. I sat for an hour without a soul around at 8. 30 am in the morning. The best way to enjoy the enchanting pangong lake is by staying at mystic pangong. Its location is perfect to admire the changing colours of the lake from the bedroom windows and from the courtyard. It is situated away from all the hustle and bustle of the camping sites on the lake but it just takes a few minutes to be at the lake, walk along its periphery and enjoy the sublime beauty.
