the room is not cleaned also there is a bad smell coming from the bathroom and the door is not good also the lock for the room

Everything was a top notch location was too good with view of peaks and food was amazing staff was very helpful . Only thing is toilets and beds could be better

The rooms are horrible, very very nasty , the toilet gun did not worked , the flush is not working the door are so week. There is no facility of hot water the manager said there is water geyser but there is NONE! It’s a cold place we need hot water atleast!!!! There is no 24/7 electricity!!!! The homestay is giving power for few hours on generator which is so horribly loud !!! People go there for peace of mind not to listen generator loud noise!!!! The view is absolutely beautiful but the management is truly horrible ....i complaint about this and the manager gave us “premium room” , and the door is not opening or closing of the premium room , floor is so dirty . I get it that it’s a budget friendly room but atleast basic need is must cleanliness, electricity, hot water , is that so much to ask ???? I would not recommend family people to go here. Especially with females because the place does not have basic need available....very very disappointed. I had to check out one night early seeing all this inconvenience waste of money !!!

Found this property on MakeMyTrip and booked for the mountain view. Things are good: 1. The view is good, we can see Mullaiyangiri peak from hotel parking and 2 rooms. Things to improve or keep in mind: 1. Reaching the hotel is very difficult and the road is very steep. Not good for learners and dangerous. 2. There is no network signal for mobile phone. Wifi is available but the signal will not reach the room. 3. Rooms have thin door and there are gaps in windows. Even Sneezing can be heard from other rooms or outside. Big no for couples. 4. Ordered food from their side and it is very bad.

Place is very amazing very peaceful… property also very good maintained very decent…. Wash required bit replacement of comode hand wash basin … very poor condition… Main door 🚪 is in bad condition wood is completely spoiled and it has wholes anyone can just smash through legs … Customer service need to take highly attention … Available executive given false information that they don’t serve food … we went all the way down from the tip of misty valley to town to bring food along with beverages Later they were serving freshly cooked food from their kitchen to other customers …. Felt very disappointed we were having cold food …. This was not fault from kitchen team … the executive in the reception told us no food or beverages available… There is no welcoming for guest… place is super awesome where the misty valley property is located …. Guest may increase if they improve the customer service n do some renovation of property …

Parking is Horrible, Rooms are average The view is awesome and excellent

The location was amazing. But apart from that everything was so bad. Specially the rooms, rooms were dirty. Some electric work was going on so very noise was there also faced electricity issue a lot. Also, the food was horrible. I will not recommend anyone for this stay.

Very good homestay in the middle of the forest. We have booked a dormitory for 5 adults which was very spacious and neat. We went on 13. 01. 25 and the climate was very cold, take necessary sweaters. Restaurant also available with limited menu.

It is fully surrounded by nature and nice location. Manger is very cooperative and friendly, give us home feeling

no hot water service geyser was not working... no room service washroom and room not cleaned.... The comord water supply was broken need to use bucket water

The property has the best view of the valley down below and access to coffee plantations. Staff has been very helpful and respectful towards guest. Always willing to go extra mile for our comfort. Rooms are pretty simple in facilities don’t have much basic entertainment options like tv for occasional viewing, although that’s good as it allowed us to walk & enjoy pristine environment. Beds are comparable small for 6 feet guys and no drinks provided by the home stay gotta do byo.

Trip was good and very exciting also

It was a good and decent room stay, food was fine. The location was near all tourist spots. The only concern was the parking spot; if there is a concrete road, then it will be a great spot to stay. Thanks

Good location, average experience" misty valley homestay in chikkamagaluru has a fantastic location surrounded by serene views, making it a peaceful getaway. However, the rooms left much to be desired in terms of comfort and cleanliness. The food was below average and lacked variety. While the setting is lovely, the overall experience could be improved. 3/5
