To begin with, upon arrival, we discovered that there was no property by the name "Melody Resort" at the location. Instead, we found a place called Mint Farmhouse. The gate was locked, and we had to wait outside for nearly an hour before the caretaker arrived to let us in.
Once inside, the situation worsened. The farmhouse was in an extremely unhygienic and neglected condition—it looked more like a haunted house than a holiday retreat. The kitchen was messy and dirty, with no gas burner available for cooking. There was no hot water, the water flow was very poor, and the bathrooms were filthy. The television was broken and non-functional. No Towels has been given.
We contacted the property manager, who sent someone after 30 minutes to start cleaning. However, by then, we had already lost 3–4 hours of our day. In the evening, we managed to go out and returned later, hoping for some relief. A cook was available and prepared tea and Maggi for us, but he left with the gas burner afterward, saying it was needed elsewhere. I requested him to return it within 2–3 hours as we might need it to prepare food or milk for my baby. Unfortunately, it never came back.
We spent the night battling mosquitoes and discomfort. The next morning, around 6 AM, we found there was no water supply, no electricity, and still no gas burner. With a hungry child and no basic amenities, we struggled for another 2–3 hours before deciding to leave the property a day earlier than planned.
We had booked the farmhouse for two nights, but due to these unacceptable conditions, we were forced to cut our stay short. Our entire experience was ruined, and the money spent felt completely wasted.
