Hotel Review: SREE ANNAMALAIYAR PARK, Tirunelveli
Review Title: Unacceptable Front Office Management and Poor Process Execution - Issues with Mr. Mani Kandan
Detailed Experience
I recently completed a stay at Sree Annanalaiyar Park, and unfortunately, the entire experience was severely tarnished by the unprofessional conduct and poor communication from the Front Office Manager, Mr. Mani Kandan.
1. Booking Miscommunication (The "Confession")
The problems started immediately concerning the terms of my stay. There was a significant issue involving a "confession" from the manager.
This lack of preparedness and professionalism at the front desk was unacceptable and set a negative tone for the entire trip.
The lack of efficient service continued through check-out. The manager's team did not handle the final formalities smoothly, which was a very disappointing end to the stay.
Final Verdict
While the hospitality with the kitchen management might be appreciatable, the critical functions managed by the front office—particularly the booking confirmation and the vital check-in/check-out processes—were handled extremely poorly. The miscommunication from Mr. Mani Kandan was the single biggest detractor from the overall stay.
I strongly recommend that the hotel management investigate this issue immediately and review the training and service standards provided by this department to prevent similar experiences for future guests.
Beyond the front office problems, the in-room experience was seriously flawed. The toilet cleanliness was the worst I have encountered in a hotel, which is absolutely unacceptable. Additionally, the water pressure in both the faucet and the shower was minimal, making basic hygiene tasks frustrating and difficult. This points to a severe lapse in both housekeeping standards and maintenance.
