Hotel Rama Residency in Anand, is decently located right in the middle of the main market, which makes it convenient to access nearby spots, including the Amul Milk Plant. The room I was allotted was clean and sleepable, and thankfully, there was uninterrupted electricity throughout my stay. However, despite the property being listed as a 3-star hotel on MMT, it clearly didn’t meet that standard in terms of amenities and overall feel yet it charged like 3 star. The bathroom was quite cramped, and none of the inclusions (like toiletries or breakfast) were offered unless specifically asked for. Also, even though most of the hotel was vacant, the specific room I had requested wasn’t given. That said, the room I did get wasn’t bad. The breakfast buffet had limited options but the food that was available was well-prepared. Staff interaction was minimal but fine. Overall, it’s an okay stay if you’re just looking for a basic night’s rest in a good location, but don’t expect luxury or 3-star standards.
