Good Stay
Good hotel to stay ,staff is polite, food is best , but this time my room air conditioning was not working as well hot water issues were there on fourth floor.

Best affordable, specious, good location hote
Specious rooms, the location of three hotels is premium. The hotel staff is polite and helpful. The restaurant of the hotel is well known. The breakfast is authentic Kolhapuri, Misal Pav, Kolhapuri Vada, Kande Pohe, and more... Plenty of parking. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Expensive , checked in at 2:30 am checked out at 10 am ... charged me 3097/- ... also the attendent was not at all co operative

Bad experience
Whenever I go to Kholapur I see that I stay at Opel. But this time I regret why I stayed at this hotel. When I checked in there was smell of cigarette smoke all over the room entry and passage. It was so bad that we could not even sit in the room. When asked they did give me another room on the same floor. But walking through the passage itself was an experience walking through the smoking zone. Second experience, I checked out around 8:30am by paying for the room service I had in cash. Around 12:20pm I got a call from the hotel reception saying you have not paid for the room service. This is not at all expected from the hotel.

Good Stay
Opal is the preferred place for us whenever we visit Kolhapur. It’s family friendly, has good restaurant and complimentary good breakfast. Only concern I had this time was the 4th floor rooms were having some stinking smell. May be not regularly occupied or something. But other than that I am happy with Opal. I will book again. Hoping I don’t face this next time around.

Clean hotel with basic amenities, spacious airy rooms. Staff was super quick in response. Breakfast spread was limited but tasty. If u are non veg lover, would recommend to try mutton dishes....

Clean room, the bed linen could have been more clean and the tap water pressure needs to be checked and improved, but by and large a good experience, no major disappointments. But definitely can improve over small aspects which would be value addition to the experience.

basic toiletries were provided, though not all, but might have been provided on request, as the staff were eager to help. Food didn't have much variety and we felt bloated on eating much less quantity than usual

spacious room, clean toilet. basic amenities were in the room including tea kettle. service is excellent. parking was available for a big size car.
