Review Of Harihareshwar Beach Resort

Room can't be called resort. it doesn't have basic amenities and also lack basic cleaning. very disappointed with this booking

The stay was average and the room was not properly kept even the washroom wasn’t clean. The staff was not available most of the time and it wasn’t an enclosed property so seemed quite risky for staying at night.

first of all property outside whole area is very dirty, no Housekeeping, all garbage outside & infront of every rooms. No room service phone available, restaurant completey closed as no cook. as per room price very worst ambience. parking also bot separate..it's like public parking and no control on it.

This hotel is situated near the Harihareshwar temple and beach. Anyone staying at this hotel also gets free parking outside the temple while people staying elsewhere are charged 100Rs. When we went to checkin to this hotel, they said they only had a booking for 1 room when we had actually booked 3 from MMT. I did show them the voucher but they said they only received booking for 1 room. The receptionist was kind enough to Direct me to another property owned by the same management called Royale Green. This other property was around 1-2 kms away outside the main Harihareshwar entry gate. This was the only high rise building in the vicinity and was much better than Harihareshwar Beach resort. They accommodated us in the other hotel, fortunately they had 3 rooms left. Both hotels however seemed to be highly priced and not at all value for money. However, there seem to be limited options in that area for our budget.

After knowing that the electricity goes on and off, they would have kept a single big main fan in the middle. I didnt understand the logic of adding small fans in two corners and from that also only one was working. Food was terrible.

Location was good. Closest hotel near beach & temple, However cleanliness & room condition could have been better.

I gone through this property details on line after reviewing the ratings given and booked the top line cottage with breakfast at the cost for one day. After reporting at the reception, the lady said we do not have the booking but then gave us the so called cottage. This cottage allotted was totally in dilapidated condition. The surrounding of the cottage was littered with empty cans and bottles, tissue papers etc. The so called grass was with dog poo all over the places. No proper access to the carpark areas. The a. C. Was not working, the fan was broken, hanging down from wall, the electrical switch boxes were broken, no lights in the bathroom, the bed sheets were dirty. The list can go on and on. The staff was also looking dirty and unhygienic after keeping our luggage in the room, we went around looking for another hotel for a stay. On return we told the owner lady that we cannot stay in this room. She then arranged our stay in her other hotel on main high way.

Hotel is not maintained and is is in poor condition. Pathetic service as we were denied room service citing rush in restaurant as reason which is unacceptable. Extremely rude and disrespectful lady on reception who is totally non accommodating and not suitable for hospitality industry. Location of hotel is only plus point, otherwise hotel doesn’t deserve more than 1 rating!

Place is awesome and very well maintained, food was good.

Near from beach and temple. Cooperative owner and staff. Nice view from balcony. Very clean n neat room.

The cottage were not well maintained. There was no view of the sea from room. No balcony or big windows for enough ventilation. The passage in front was not clean and lit enough in the night. Dogs were sitting in front of the door at night.

I made a reservation for this resort last week, but upon arrival, the resort owner informed me that all the cottages were fully booked. . We noticed that other guests from harihareshwar beach resort were experiencing power cuts and were requesting refunds. They relocated us to another hotel, which wasn't a cottage and was quite far from the beach. When we reached the new hotel, there were communication issues, and the new hotel owner was unwilling to provide a room immediately. My family and i had to wait until 9. 30 pm to get our new room. Overall, our experience was very unprofessional and disappointing.

Hotel is located at very good location but hotel is not good at all, they served me rotten fish, when i complained hotel owner misbehaved with me, but then fellow guest also complained same thing and then owner had nothing to say( i think hotel owner might have drunk)ac in my room was not working ( imagine a temporary structure cottage near beach in month of may without ac with 1 year old child), no intercom in rooms so you have to go reception each time, cottage was not clean at all. I will rate this hotel as minus 5 star

The property is probably the nearest one to the harihareshwar temple as well as beach. They have ample parking. In fact, if you book a cottage, you have a fair chance of parking your car in front of your cottage itself. Seafood specially pomfret and surmai fry was served hot and tasted great. After roaming around this place and checking all other options, i came to the conclusion that this place is most probably, relatively better located and serviced than others.

Resort was more than we expected. Just beside the temple and 4 mins walk to beach. Clean and spacious room. We took cottage. Good food. The owner is very sweet lady. Definitely a 101% happy. Totally recommend it.

The resort is very near to sea beach and restaurants.

In the images everyone would love to stay at such a beautiful property. But in reality it is a like . I'm really not happy.

TV is in amenity - not working. Wifi is on amenity - Not there at all, there is mo wifi connection. Smell from bed sheet and no blanket. No curtain in one window. When you switch sides, there was sound coming from bed. No parking, no cleanliness. No telephone in room, so you have to either wait for person or travel yourself to reception which is not possible in night as there was very big bushy grass through the pathway. When there was no network in your sim, this can be very painful.

The actual room tarriff at location is half the room tarriff shown on malemytrip
