Review Of Gangaram Ki Dhani Homestay

The location is 12 KM from Osian Railway Station. we booked the property as 1 km distance. The property owner after several calls enquired about our arrival by train from Jodhpur and sent us a the jeep photo for pick up. He came personally and picked us. We were very poor in Hindi. Our hut and bathroom was excellent. Tea Dinner and Breakfast were excellent. Had dinner in their kitchen. I only went for a camel ride which was adventurous and excellent. in the morning we have seen the farmlands around the property. Where water is scarce and was told ground levelwater at 1000 feet people produce onion wheat carrot cumin methi here. May rain god bless them. The owner dropped us at Osion. Overall we enjoyed this homestay.

2023 April is an unforgettable vacation for us due to the memorable stay at Gangaram,s Dhani.jodhpur was the last destination after visiting jaipur ,pushkar etc . I don't know how to thank Nainsukhji for his warm hospitality. They literally believe in the Indian saying ADITHI DEVO BHAVA probably. The taste of the authentic Rajasthani home made food that they served lingers on in my mouth.Dharma, their little son was so helpful and may God bless the boy.I clicked a nice photo with Gangaramji ,the old gentleman a and the photo is a valued piece in my tour photos. I will definitely go there again to soak in the Rajasthani village life and culture.Osean is the nearest town for them and you can call him from there. jeept safari and camel rides were far better than our experience at jaisalmer. anyone can call me for directions and queries

We experienced beauty and warm hospitality. You enter into a different world as soon you take a turn from the highway to move towards the place. You ride through a very sparsely populated expanse for a few kms and then reach the place. You will feel as if you are in the middle of a desert. The hospitality was outstanding. They will help you with whatever you need. The family lives next door so to speak. You do not need to go anywhere to hitch a camel ride or go on a jeep ride on the osian sand dunes - they can help you with both with their own camels and jeeps. They are a humble people, striving to build more modern cottages (with ac, with attached bathrooms, and recovering from the impact of covid on tourism. Let's support them. Such a beautiful place in the middle of the desert. Very peaceful and lovely ambiance. Overall a great experience. Mud huts are amazing also you can stay in the rooms if you want. Mr. Nainsukh, the owner himself is so humble and kind. He also manages Jeep and Camel Safari in the dunes. Best place to stay if you are in ocean. Reasonable rates and good service. Home stay are best place to stay. If you call Mr. Nainsukh before arriving at ocean. He will also arrange a pickup for you since the place is 5 kilometers in the desert from the city area.
