Review Of Coco Hostel Palolem

Our stay was much better than we expected! I absolutely loved staying at both Hostels Coco in Palolem and Backstage in Anjuna, Goa. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and always ready to help with local recommendations. The amenities were good, and the overall vibe made the experience memorable. Both locations were easy to find through Google Maps and felt safe for travelers. Highly recommended for anyone visiting South Goa!

Never a recommended stay, check out time at the property is 12pm and checking starts from 2Pm however the receptionist keep knocking our room every hour from 9am onwards saying she has the booking hence pushing us to do early checkout, when we resisted and said that we'll leave the room as per policy, she started arguing. Moreover, room doesn't have door lock option from outside, multiple charging sockets in the room but only works, moreover if you have patience then do visit their washroom as the water flow of the tap is frustrating.

location is really good. All amenities are nice.

Will come again. Peaceful getaway.

Poor maintenance of washrooms. Not a worth even though just because spending less

Very good hostel with clean rooms and pretty patios to sit and enjoy the outdoors. However, the bathrooms could be cleaner. But the staff are very polite. Especially, Satish Bhaiya was very helpful and kind. Great option for a 1 night transit stay at Palolem.

I would admit the hostel was clean - beds, room, bathroom. The location was not exactly as shown on maps (farther away from the beach) but still good enough. But oh my, the rudest staff I have ever come across.

The property location was good, at 5-7 min distance from Pallolem beach. The room, bathroom and restaurant food was good as well. The staff behaviour was nice as well. But the dormitory door can neither be locked from the outside, nor from the inside. There should be a lock on the inside atleast, considering female guest.

We encountered some concerns during our interaction with the property manager. Specifically: - We felt that our inquiries were not adequately addressed, and the manager's responses lacked clarity. - When we requested information about the air conditioning, we did not receive a satisfactory response. - There was a discrepancy between the check-in time stated in the application (12:30-2:00 PM) and the actual check-in time provided in person (10:00 AM-12:00 PM). Shower was not working, Ac was not working, it was super hot and it looked better in pictures then real. Overpriced, as i booked a single room and I couldn’t even lock that. Everytime i had to go out, i had to pack my all things and put it in a locker. With same price i was getting much better options around.

Clean room and bathroom. Services by the staff can be better

The rooms were maintained pretty well and for that price(less than 2k for 3) we got a AC dormitory with only 4 people in 1 dormitory with attach bathroom and attach toilet. No feedback about food and drink since we didn't eat/drink much there. People maintaining hostel were friendly. One carom board and one TT table(ball provided was not TT ball and TT bats were out of condition, didn't bother since we didn't have much time to play all of it). Parking was 200 mtr away by car and 100 mtr away by walk. Stayed just for a day and all in all it was a pretty decent stay.

Great location, clean eco friendly rooms, comfortable bunk beds, courteous service and staff, good food.

There was a major drainage issue in our room, which was not resolved even after multiple complaints. The staff behaviour was good however there attitude was a lethargic when it came to solving this issue.

Good dormitory, properly maintained.

Hostel stay was just mediocre, 1500/ bed during christmas w/o breakfast is not worth the price. Tried only lemon tea and poha was just ok, not that good.

We arrived at around 6 and the hostel was ghostly quiet. There was only one person there who could not even come to show us the parking. The sheets were not washed so they smelled like the last person in them and the washroom had a square hole cut into them for exhaust but the exhaust itself was missing so insects were in the bathroom. Curtains were missing from upper bunk beds. The room was cramped and more or less it was not at all worth the 4000 rs i spent for staying at that ghost house for 2 nights.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room that we had stayed in was clean and well kept at all times.
