We stayed at Beachwood Mansion, Nagaon, and while the rooms were clean, everything else about our experience was extremely disappointing. We were not provided with towels or the extra mattress we had already paid for. The tea served was cold and tasted terrible.
The managers and staff were completely unprofessional and seemed clueless about handling guests. Almost everyone staying there had complaints — from uncooked chapatis to tasteless dal. We didn’t even receive the complimentary water bottles that were included in our booking.
Because of the poor food and service, we decided not to have dinner there, which was inconvenient since it was raining heavily and we had to walk to a nearby restaurant. Breakfast was delayed until 10 a.m., even though we wanted to leave early.
The parking was a total mess — cars were parked haphazardly, and we couldn’t move our vehicle until others were shifted. The staff was slow, unresponsive, and kept saying “yes” without taking any action.
Overall, it was a poorly managed stay. Every guest seemed unhappy. For the experience we had, I genuinely feel a 50% refund would be fair.
