Basho boasts a truly stunning natural setting, with the lake view being the absolute highlight of the experience. The tranquility and beauty of the surroundings are what ultimately made the stay worthwhile. However, the rest of the experience was quite underwhelming. The service and facilities were strictly ordinary. The swimming pool was out of action, and while it’s not a main attraction, it still added to the sense of things not quite being in order. Power cuts were very frequent, which disrupted the comfort of the stay. The intercom system didn’t function as expected and had to be replaced during our visit — a clear sign of poor maintenance. On a positive note, the food was above average, which helped offset some of the other frustrations. In summary, visit Basho for the views and peaceful atmosphere, but temper your expectations on comfort and service.

Very average stay, no hot water, no fridge in the room, food is good, no accommodation for drivers which makes it very inconvenient for people taking their own cars with drivers

Great place to stay with family, quite and quaint place . Pool could be bit bigger and food quality is good but not top notch . Overall 4 stars

Was good and overall stay was good. Food is food. We faced electricity issue which was too bad for us.
