Excellent Stay
I had an amazing stay at this homestay nestled in a coffee plantation. The ambience was perfect, and the owner was extremely friendly. All basic amenities like hot water and towels were provided. The surrounding climate was refreshing, though it is a bit far from the city. Highly recommended!
Peaceful family stay with minimum essential service
There are 2 rooms for guests managed by an 80 year old lady. Appreciate her efforts and zeal in life. It has tv, fan (no ac, 24 hrs hot water (traditional wood boiler centrally located outside, generator (can give for few hours as only 2 rooms, invertor (can cater for few hours, a varanda, bedroom, dressing and attached bathroom. The food is costly but prepared with love by the old lady. Inf-act whatever available she will provide. For idle sambar be ready to pay rs. 200. Coffee rs. 45. But if you take out your car and go out, it will cost you more. The lady is saving your effort and charges what you could have spent otherwise. There are nobody there to take out your luggage etc except the old lady who will talk nicely and gives you family feeling. The grandchildren whenever they come help out to her. Do not expect any help from anybody as there are no one. You cannot walk across the coffee plantation or outside as it is close to elephant reserve forest and stray elephants roam around at night. You can hear gun shots by estate owners to scare away elephants. During our 2 nights stay, we had only 7 to 8 hours elecricity, thanks to congress govt giving free electricity. Hence most of the times you are without electricity. The owner also handicapped for preparing food. They can afford few hours of generator at night as only 2 rooms. The house is pet friendly, and many dogs and many cats roam around behind you. If you are pet lover you can enjoy hugging dogs and cats. Early morning strolling and walk may be scary, as they fear stray elephants standing somewhere. Hot water is plenty as enough water and wood available.
Good Stay
Very good atmosphere. Maintaining by a nice person.
Nice people nice stay comfy rooms
Got the property through random search but it came out to be a nice remember-able stay. Host nalini ma'am gave so much warmth and is an inspiration.
Excellent Stay
I visited the garden villa with my family. Location is full of greenery and peaceful. My experience was absolutely memorable. The old Lady nalini jee who is a host and her family members treated us like their own famiy members. Shriram, nayantara all members of this family are very polite, humble and care taking.
Good Stay
The rooms were clean and well maintained. Mrs. Nalini care taker was really sweet and she was guiding us in good way. Very calm and peaceful place to be for sometime.
Good Stay
Decent neat home stay and a very good host
A beautiful place to spend some quite with nature
This place beautiful and maintained well. The lotus plants, different varieties of flowers and plays will give you a feel good factor. The host of the property will make sure you feel like home away from home. I also got a complementary tour to coffee and spice estate. Such a nice gesture from host.
Warm hospitality
A calm, cute & serene place surrounded by lush green jungle & coffee plantation a perfect stay to spend weekend then the people & their warm hospitality made the stay even homely. Dub-are elephant camp is literally 10mins away a must visit place. Only con is served food is little over pricy.
Garden villa homestay
Property is next to state highway. It is within coffe estate and with lots of fruit trees like mango, fig, jack fruit, rose apple, litchi etc. Homely food and owner of the property stays there too. They are very polite and speaks english
Excellent Stay
Excellent stay in the middle of coffee estate, birds chirping, lot of flowers blooming. The host nalini ji was very generous and kind. They serve only veg food and was very tasty. Non veg food can be ordered from outside. Overall it was a wonderful experience at garden villa homestay.
Wholesome family stay
The location was beautiful. The host is an old lady and the property is like an outhouse. It is very well maintained and scenic. It's quiet and pleasant, apt for a family outing but not for brash or reckless behaviour or jolly making. It has a very peaceful aura and is well situated near good restaurants.
Overall good stay
Was traveling with my family. Room is good. Felt rate for food is high. Think it is same in all honesty at Coorg.
Excellent Stay
Hospitality at it's best. The place was amazingly beautiful. They served us with super yummy home cooked food.
Excellent Stay

Good Stay
Good
Very bad, don't go
This is the worst stay in my experience. I will not recommend to any body who are visiting Coorg. Location is very bad. It, s 30 km away from city. For rice and sambar I paid 500. For 6 small dosa 200. You can't enjoy your trip if you will go this home stay. They are simply looting.
