The property is not highly maintained. The whites has turned into yellow and the cottage was filthy. You have not a single security guard on the property. The manager informed that they will leave the property at night 10 and then the guests will be left ok thr own. It had 0 occupancy apart from us with no staff and in the middle of the no where. With no phones and no television. In a glass hut. The owner Somaya is a smug con artist, instead of accepting the security concerns he kept making excuses. Though every other staff and manager agreed with the security concern.

Great place for a family vacation. If you are looking for a place to just rest and chill, The Barn is a great option. The food is pretty good too.

First and foremost, positive points, the food taste was amazing. Cheers to the cook. The beddings were clean and fresh. Comings to negative points, though the cottage looks attractive, there was a dead rat inside the ac. Dust kept falling off the ac duct. There were cob webs in the curtains. Basically cleaning was done properly. There was no wifi for a day and no network connection. Property was amazing but hard to reach. The maps shared by you is wrong and you need to update it. Thank you. Cleaning was not done properly

Lovely location, clean room, good food

The place is nice. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is good. Wifi does not work in rooms. None of the rooms have tv. Food is okay, mutter paneer was good. There was mehendini function so we did not have access to the dining area, although they arranged a bonfire for us and placed our table there to dine.

The barn is a beautiful place with a wonderful atmosphere to blend with nature. It's truly a nurture with nature experience. They are a little expensive with amenities like hair drier unavailable. That being said i would surely recommend this place for a good weekend with friends and family amid-st nature with beautiful bon fires. Good staff and a beautiful handsome friend foxy. Done. Overall experience was really good, a peaceful place, i definitely recommendommend if you want to relax for couple days with family or friends. There is definitely a room for improvement in servicing. Food is really good.

Its middle of the forest, place is good and full of greenary, food is ok ok, not that sefifection level, too costly and there is no any activity to do.

The place is very nicely managed and has a lot of facilities, but there are some things which can be improved. First of all, their is soiled water in the bathroom at times. Might be because they take water directly from the pond situated nearby. Wifi is only available at the reception/dining area and is spotty at best. Don't expect good coverage as well, which can be both a good and a bad thing. Lastly, the food isn't as great as some of the reviews mention, but the staff is courteous and friendly. Overall, a pretty good experience.

Firstly, location that is being shown isn’t the destination, we’ll have to travel 2kms more from the given location online (its a completely remote area, cant travel without own transport. There is no wifi and signals in the rooms, it gets pretty hard to make calls and messages too. Beds are not at all comfortable as it has springs. They are charging 1500 plus taxes for extra person, where in they are giving extra food for that price which is pretty expensive as the bed, blanket are all inbuilt. Dinner was not so great and we have to wait more than 40mins (though they mentioned) but it wasn’t worth the wait and heavily priced. They are more interested in dinner of the guests as it is additionally charged than to inform the guests about the location.

3. we visited in jan 2023. here is a brief review: 1. food quality not good. for a place as remote as this, the customers expect good quality food in the place of stay but it was disappointing. food options are many though 🤔 better to keep few options with better quality. even the complimentary breakfast had only 2 or 3 items. 2. wifi connectivity in the cottages is very weak. 3. the landscape around the cottages is very nice, but needs to be more lighted in the nights. 4. no covered car parking available. 5. room service and hospitality is excellent. 6. spacious rooms and bathroom.

Barn is amazing if you just want to go to coorg and stay in. It is located in middle of nowhere surrounded by trees and plantations. Pros- location, amazing hosts, great atmosphere cons - food is a bit pricey for value. Hard to reach, so if you want to travel in an out of the place a lot it might be difficult
