A truly homely place that feels like a home away from home. The food is delicious, and both the caretaker Raj and the owner Poovanna are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to ensure guests have a memorable stay. The rooms are well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, with the property offering just four rooms in total, making it cozy and personal. Tucked away in a lush plantation in South Coorg, the setting is serene and surrounded by greenery. Perfect for a long weekend getaway to relax and rejuvenate—highly recommended!

The host mr. Poovanna, care taker raj & his team's hospitality is top notch. Right from the time we arrived at the location to leaving the premises, they took care of us like their family! very comfortable place for stay amid-st a huge plantation pretty near to nagarhole forest/safari location. Food was fantastic, definitely one of 'thee best' foods we have tasted. Mr. Poovanna also helped us to book for the jungle safari (jeep. They also took the time to show us around the plantation and helped us with places to visit nearby including thirunelly temple in kerela (border) which we were not aware of earlier. Overall a fabulous place to visit and we would definitely visit them again in a different season.

This was my second visit to pepper trails homestay, and it reaffirmed my fondness for this enchanting retreat. Ideal for those looking to escape bangalore’s bustle, pepper trails offers an experience that is both tranquil and rejuvenating. My initial visit was a photography excursion with a friend, which left a lasting impression thanks to poovanna, the homestay’s owner. His empathetic attention to detail and the lush surroundings had already won me over. Returning with my entire family, including my 9-year-old daughter, this experience managed to exceed our already high expectations. Poovanna’s proactive communication ensured our preferences were met, from culinary choices to accommodations for our driver. The new bangalore-mysore highway facilitated a swift 4-hour journey, allowing us to find our rooms ready upon arrival. The homestay’s secluded yet accessible location in a sprawling coffee estate near iruppu falls and within an hour’s drive from prime coorg and wayanad spots, makes it a strategic base for exploring. After over two decades in bangalore and numerous trips across southern india, i can confidently say pepper trails stands out as one of the best weekend getaways. Whether it’s the delicious spread of meals or the serene ambiance, pepper trails homestay is a gem that promises and delivers a memorable escape.

Homestay is located in a remote place in coorg and offers you great views, peace and natural vibe. Food is delicious and service is excellent. It is very close to nagarhole tiger reserve (kutta side entrance for safari) and irupu falls. But do keep in mind that this property is far from many other typical tourist sight-seeing areas of coorg

Well located easy access good hosts poovan and ashwin took good care of us food was well prepared met to our expectations overall a worthy place to stay

We stayed for 3d2n and the best things we liked about the stay was the hospitality and the food. The host also gave us suggestions on nearby places and also got us permits for narimale trek. 100% recommend.

The owner/host pavanna is as good as they get. The family is more than welcoming. They do not cater to a crowd, just 4 groups/families at a time, so you will be taken care of well enough. I loved the food, the rooms are laaaarge and then extra a laaaarge. I hope your day experience is as good as mine, if not better. Excellent place, deserves more accolades.

This was a couple Stay and we had a fantastic experience. The location was superb and the room was also very clean with a wonderful waterfall view near the Kerela border. The care taking service was impressive. Property is recommendable and the only thing that could be improved was providing the transport facility to and fro the property.
