Travel Status for Indian Travellers : OPEN

Quarantine and Testing Rules for Fully Vaccinated

Travel is allowed with restrictions

  • Vaccination: Fully vaccinated travellers (except children below 5 years) must carry a valid vaccination certificate, showing they have been administered with the second dose or a booster dose at least 14 days prior to departure.
  • Pre-departure test: Fully vaccinated travellers do not need to carry a negative RT-PCR test report.
  • On arrival test: While arriving at entry points in Indonesia, all international travellers having symptoms and/or with body temperature above 37.5 degree Celsius, are required to carry out RT-PCR re-examination.
  • Travellers with flight connection on Indonesia domestic routes will require 3 doses of vaccine to continue the journey. The travellers with 2 doses of vaccine must show a negative rapid antigen result 1 x 24 hours or an RT-PCR test 3 x 24 hours before departure (Domestic Flight) as a travel requirement and can do a third vaccine (booster) on-site upon departure.
  • Please note: The Health Ministry of Indonesia has tightened Health Check at all International Arrival Borders/Airports and travellers will be subjected to stringent Health Check before allowed to continue their journey.
  • Accepted vaccine: Covaxin, Covishield and Sputnik V.

Quarantine Requirements

All travellers who test positive during the on-arrival test but have no or mild symptoms are required to carry out isolation in hotels or centralized isolation facilities set by the government or self-isolate in their own residences following the procedure recommended by the Ministry of Health. While those with moderate or severe symptoms will be treated at a COVID-19 referral hospital as per the recommendations from doctors and Ministry of Health.

  • Pre-departure test: Non-vaccinated travellers (except children below 5 years) must carry a negative RT-PCR test, with sample taken 48 hours before scheduled departure.
  • On arrival test: While arriving at entry points in Indonesia, all international having symptoms and/or with body temperature above 37.5 degree Celsius, are required to carry out RT-PCR re-examination.
  • Travellers who have not yet been vaccinated or cannot be vaccinated due to medical reasons, must present a statement letter from a medical specialist from a government hospital in their country of origin.
  • Travellers with flight connection on Indonesia domestic routes will require 3 doses of vaccine to continue the journey. The travellers with 2 doses of vaccine must show a negative rapid antigen result 1 x 24 hours or an RT-PCR test 3 x 24 hours before departure (Domestic Flight) as a travel requirement and can do a third vaccine (booster) on-site upon departure.

Documents Required

  • Travellers must have a confirmed booking of an accommodation.
  • Travellers must have e-visit tourist visa with a visa number ending with LN.
  • A medical insurance with minimal coverage of USD 25,000- for COVID-19 treatment is required.
  • Travellers must download the PeduliLindungi app and complete their vaccine registration.
  • A completed "electronic health awareness card (e-HAC)" must be presented upon arrival. The card can be obtained before departure through the PeduliLindungi app.
  • Minimum Three Night booking is required in CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability) certified hotel.
  • Travellers must register for electronic Custom Declaration (e-CD).
  • Travellers entering the country with an agreement scheme or in transit, as long as they are not exiting the airport area and present a flight ticket outside Indonesia, are exempt from vaccination requirements.
