It was a lovely experience! The staff was very coordial and cooperative. The rooms were very clean. The ambience was superb and the view was breathtaking! Not only that they arranged for various activities for kids in ther evening. The food was top notch. They even gave us a return gift a box of cakes and a bottle of water when we checked out. at our stay in the grand legacy resort- mahabaleshwar, we booked hotel based on recommendation given by as per ratings and our room numbers were 711,712.we checked in late around 7:30.but in reality the hotel stay was not pleasant as - 1. when v checked in the room as it was already late check in v wer tired ,room key card didn't wrk properly as it was coming out of the socket so light was getting turned off evry 5min then the technician came ,he did something and kept us waiting for around 20 mins but still it was not upto the mark ...the problem appeared eventually again ...v told them but they said that's all they cud do!! 2. as it was cold so there was no point in using ac but the room fan was so noisy they again said they cud not do anything!! 3. toilet seat of room 711 was broken they didn't fix it!! 4. v asked them to change the room but they gave another room in which fan was not working properly!!so eventually v stayed in same room considering v didn't had any other option... 5. food was also average jst quantity n no quality. next time first literally dnt give to the hotel which didn't actually are not worth in reality! bcz v book based on ur reference given n recommendations in or else we need same thing happened with. so give recommendation next time!!. so give better recommendation next time !!

Stay was comfortable. staff was very courteous. They were well mannered specially service in the restaurant was fast and nice. Buffet breakfast was not enough as there were not many options to choose from. however we had lunch buffet in the restaurant which was good. some improvements are needed on rooms, first of all there were no balcony in the grand rooms and the bathroom was not that big.

The Grand Legacy was a disappointing experience overall. The photos on MakeMyTrip showed valley views for Elegant rooms, but the rooms we got had no view at all—just a green patra sheet blocking everything. Totally misleading. One of the Elegant rooms had a broken shower button, and the room itself wasn’t well maintained. We also booked through MakeMyTrip expecting a 10% restaurant discount, but no one informed us during check-in. Our meals were billed to rooms booked directly by relatives, and we were only told about the discount (and its lapse) on the last day—again, poor communication from the staff. The only positives were the courteous housekeeping staff and good food. Otherwise, this is just an average resort with lots of management issues. Wouldn’t recommend unless these things are fixed.
