Shalini Excellency hotel's location is very good, all the rooms have balcony facing mountains and the view is really good with foggy mornings. Complimentary breakfast is not that good, very average food. Rooms are spacious and clean. Plenty of parking. No lifts available. Overall a good stay.

Not worth for the price. No body wash or accesories available. Didn't prepare the room before arrival. Room smells like moist damp. And this is for super deluxe AC room with mountainview and bathtub. Hot water not available 24*7. Very poore breakfast

No internet WiFi and hot water is only available from 7am to 5pm. Overall service was poor. No lift and had to carry luggage

We loved the hotel ambience, garden. The staff was very helpful, room was clean and the balcon view was beautiful. you must visit and enjoy.

Amazing, budget friendly, couple friendly stay I ever visited. we had a blast with other guests too there was bonfire 🔥 and movie night too it was really so much fun we were little bit unsure about booking this property due to previous few reviews but our doubt was completely cleared and our souls were satisfied at the fullest

rooms were amazing big and clean the view and location is breathtaking ❤️😍🤩 I was with family they took really good care of my mom as they didn't had a lift and room was on upper floor so getting a good room service and special food on request was really their key boosting points the manager lady also the a girl who was employed their help her getting down the staircase as it is little high in height at some places when I had gone out and also they took care of whatever she needs in my absence. really the hotel is well maintained even if there are less Instagramable elements the rooms, the food,the view,the hospitality and the peace (apnapan ) you get here is more surreal! now this is my go to destination henceforth!

I was for my honeymoon hotel arrange for the beautiful surprise. The hospitality was really amazing 😍 ❤️ food was so delicious the malai tikka biryani and kebabs were so yummy. we took the lunch outside as after reading previous bad reviews about food we were doubtful but later the manager mitsu insisted on having dinner in the hotel and they had arranged specially for us so we decided to try the experience was really amazing I haven't eaten such wonderful biryani not just mahabaleshwar but not even Mumbai definitely,I will say everyone should try malai tikka biryani and kebabs whenever they visit here. Thank you Shalini Excellency for such a wonderful experience ❤️ my honeymoon became blissful 💐

Shalini Excellency was so welcoming I really had a wonderful stay there! I was initially sceptical about booking this property as per the previous review they had timings for hot water but after taking with manager mitsu she eased my doubt and also made arrangements for hot water by providing electric rod for the same. my overall experience was really good. will definitely visit again!

It was an amazing stay ! Shalini Excellency is a one of GEM in all senses good staff! good food! 🤤 good rooms ! good view! good visiting spots nearby! what else one expects from a holiday destination ! I will recommend to all my friends and family for sure 😇

The room was neat and clean. Staff was super friendly. Food was good too. Overall nice experience.

To start with, i booked for a room which shown with bathtub. On arrival i was denied that facility and had to stay in a room with tiny bathroom. Second, there are stairs with huge gaps and a trouble for any elderly. We had to climb to 2nd floor and it is really painful. Stairs are very badly structured. Third is the service, very less stuff and they are not trained to provide service. I checked out at 9 am and there was no one in the reception to attend. In short, if you want a place to hide and not to relax, you may opt. But, don’t expect anything that a three star hotel suppose to provide. Even the bed covers are not well cleaned.

The location is ideal, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. Whether you’re looking to explore the city or just relax, this hotel is perfectly situated. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every aspect of our stay was enjoyable.

My stay here was terrible and would not recommend it to anyone. Here are some of the issue we encountered: 1. Unsuitable accommodation: suite room didn't accommodate 4 ppl comfortably. The sofa cum bed was only suitable for 1 person. Room had a musty smell of mildew and windows rattled loudly due to air pressure. There were lock issues in every room. You have to compromise with your sleep for sure. 2. Unhygienic conditions: the pillows were rotten and was covered in black mold. When i pointed this out, they said it was common in rainy days. 3. Poor breakfast quality: it was extremely poor quality and didn't even deserve a single star rating. My father is diabetic and when i requested tea without sugar, they refused. I also asked for breakfast options suitable for an elderly person and was rudely told " jo bhi hai yahi hai(this is all we have. Even when i offered to pay extra, they refused to arrange by saying we can't make a special food for single person. 4. Unqualified staff: they were unqualified and lacked proper training in hospitality. They showed no empathy or professionalism when responding to requests. 5. Unprofessional manager: he was annoyed and showed no courtesy or professionalism when addressing our issues. He even reacted negatively next morning when we requested a change of linen in night. He showed no concern for arranging milk for 2 year old baby by himself, and offered it at extra charge despite baby meals usually being free at any resorts/hotel. Overall the experience was extremely disappointing and i urge potential guests to consider other better options in same cost. Cost is considerably more and not justifiable with its services.
