Convenient amazing location with clean surroundings and interiors. Staff is very cooperative and took every effort to make our stay comfortable.

Not happy with MMT I booked a family room as per the photo shown on your site. I was given a dormitory. On the charge I made it to you was made the payment whereas the room was far below that price.

Stayed for one day, really enjoyed much, amazing hospitality start from the welcome drink till check out all are good. Taste of the food was delicious. Staff service was very kind

Everything about this homestay is fabulous. From the time we entered the homestay the kind of personalized service and care we got was unimaginable. The food was delicious and made as per our taste. My four-year-old son relished noodles and pasta which the host Shilpa made for my son. She make one of the best butterscotch and strawberry Pana Cotta. We tasted the authentic delicacies of Coorg. The rooms were clean tidy and very well maintained which we generally don't see in a homestay. The coffee plantation tour with host Vinay in his jeep is highly recommended. One and most important everyone took care of my son so well whenever he was outside playing. Would highly recommend this homestay to stay in Coorg. The hosts are so friendly and helping which made our stay more comfortable. This honestly is so good as this run with lots of passion and hard work. Even each and every staff of this homestay are so polite and well behaved. Thank you for such a lovely stay guys.

Firstly a bit sceptical on booking a home stay but found it to be at par with a star hotel. It's 20 kms. From Madikeri, nice and picturesque. The rooms are neat and clean, food is hygienic and delicious and the owner couple do take a good care of the guests. Overall a stipend fa fabulously fantastic experience away from the monotonous regime of star hotels. Those who like a home stay do give a try.

Everything was fine and the service they provided was extraordinary.

Comforts of resorts in peaceful homely atmosphere. Hosts are best and guide you through to nearby attractions. Place is situated in midst of coffee estate. A variety of tasty vegetarian options was a pleasant surprise in Coorg. They have all options for couple stay, large family stay. Ideally suited for a large family or group of 8-10 people to stay for 3days/2 nights and explore the surrounding attractions. We visited as a couple, but next time definitely wish to go with a large group :).

Excellent place to relax, unwind and still feel the warmth of being at home. It's amazingly managed by Mrs Shilpa and Mr Vinay and their three rockstars along with her team who super efficiently manages everything before hand for you. They will guide you through the tourist spots, if need be arrange a mode of transport. Apart from all these Their sumptuous Kodagu cuisine will give you a chill down your spine. It's yummmyyyy. Must visit when in coorg. Amazing amazing amazing place to be at. Waiting to plan another trip already.

It was a very pleasant stay. Surely enjoy the stay when you are on a group. Lunch and dinner was very tasty.

Riyavar is one of the best homestays in the Coorg area. The home stay is a neatly maintained property away from the hustle bustle of the city. Though it is nested in the middle of a coffee estate, it boasts the state of the art amenities. Awesome breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. Authentic puttu varieties were served for breakfast. We are vegetarians and we enjoyed the food. Kids loved pasta and tasty channa batura. Every meal was served with delicious custards and soufflé for desserts. On the whole, the food was very tasty. The menu had a good balance of both north and south Indian delicacies. We also enjoyed the special order veg snacks. We absolutely enjoyed playing badminton and cricket. Kids had fun bicycling. We had family quality time playing cards and uno. The property is lit with neon lights and colourful disco lights in the late evening hours. We could play our favourite numbers in their awesome tall sony bluetooth enabled speakers. We watched IPL cricket in the outdoor projector screen. I can go on with a list but let it not be a spoiler. Let there be some surprises too. Though the place is in a coffee estate, the location is midpoint for famous attractions like Kushal nagar, Dubare, Madikeri etc. I should definitely mention about the hosts. Vinay and Shilpa are the most energetic couple. Their enthusiasm and hospitality is par excellence. They made sure that our stay was very comfortable. We took the large family room. It was spacious and very clean. The room had four queen beds and two spacious bath. So peaceful that we woke up for the birds chirping every morning. I would definitely recommend this place. Ideal for families. Even better if two or three families go together. I can't wait to visit this place again. Truly a memorable stay at Riyavar. Great experience and perhaps it's the best example for what a Home Stay is. Thanks to the wonderful host and the courteous staff. Truly it is a luxurious homestay.

We had a great time at this Homestay, thanks to the lovely hospitality of Vinay and Shilpa. It's a perfect retreat, away from the hustle of the City and nestled within the peaceful coffee plantations of Coorg. The rooms are spacious and well-lit and very comfortable to stay in. The food here is to die for, we stuffed ourselves to the maximum! The hosts were kind enough to take us for a tour Around the Kaveri River bank, which is nearby. We particularly loved the outdoor dining area which has a great music system and a dance floor to break free. They even arranged a lovely bonfire night for us. If you're planning to come here with friends in a group, this is the place to be. I hope to come back here with my friends very soon, just to taste the scrumptious food again!

Ours was a family vacation and we had booked this Homestay for 11 people including adults and children. I had booked this about a month before our vacation. Vinay and Shilpa, our hosts, are the most incredible and warm people. Vinay had been in constant touch with me since I had booked the Homestay and was making sure that everything that was needed was arranged in the best possible way. When we reached there, we had the most welcoming experience from Vinay and Shilpa. Everything was arranged as per our requirements and comfort. The food that was served throughout our stay was the best food we had in a while. It had a very distinctive taste and was cooked to perfection. Vinay and Shilpa look after their guest so well that we never felt like we were their guests. You can ask them for anything and before you know it, its already done. Their helpers, Shiv and Kartik were extremely helpful and were catering to each and every request. Vinay even arranged for us to visit the coffee estates in his personal job and sent his son with us to show us Around. They arranged music, food, drinks, day-out s Around Coorg for us in a very planned way. Vinay and Shilpa and Coorg natives and they know the place inside out. If you want to have the best time for your vacation without any stress, you can come here and let them take care of the rest. I Am definitely coming back here again and will recommend this to each and every friend of mine.

Never experienced a Homestay before and was a bit cautious while booking. I must say what a unique experience of luxury and hospitality it was. My parents also left with a cherished memory of being taken care as in a home amidst beautiful surroundings of a coffee estate. The home cooked food was delicious, the decor of the place wonderful and the hosts Vinay and Shilpa went beyond to make our stay a memorable one.
