    despite the hotel being almost free of guests the receptionist and hotel staff were making a big fuss about checkout time . we were asked to empty the room because of "our room already booked" , where I was promised a complimentary check out till 2pm. food quality was barely acceptable. the area around was so crowded.

    Hotel room was well maintained. Property legacy of ancient time of nearby 600 years is restored nicely. Food was delicious. Sitar artist played classical music superbly. Man at reception guided tour very well at this ancient property. Staff was courteous. Congratulations to property owner.

    It was a heritage property. Big room, 750 meter from Sangam. We liked it. Tough for senior citizens as steps to enter are very tall and wheelchair access not there. Staff and food are good

    A below average experience in an overpriced property

    1. The property doesn't have parking & one needs to park the vehicle on the roadside in a narrow gully 2. It is a renovated old property.. In the room that was initially allocated the bathroom door wasn't closing properly and the Manager changed my room only after an argument. Basically, the property is poorly maintained. Even the phones inside the Guest rooms weren't working properly. 3. The breakfast was kind of OK, but the speed of service/attention to hygiene needs improvement (the dining area is full of flies).

    Understand the Heritage property but don't understand the seepage in the rooms. Don't understand the dusty rooms. Don't understand the house flies in dining hall, Don't understand the untrained staff. The only great part is the architecture of the bldg...it's grand

    Dear sir/ Mam , I had book 1 room for 2 night for my parents, but very sorry to both of my parents unable to connect to hotel team in order to how to reach , in spite of multiple call no one from hotel team connect which then and connect how to reach hotel , both of them are seniors Citizen . Finals both my parent had gone through mental and physical turmoil and unable to check in hotel , I had launched complaints for same on 13th Feb early morning .     The stay was okay but services were laggard. The hotel is yet to come up to level of excellence we wish to see in welcome group hotels . Food is tasty but only if you order fresh from kitchen - breakfast was stale and the staff was not considerate despite the booking level being not high. There are many fronts on which the hotel can improve - no proper bell desk is at the hotel. Every staff only tells that they are new and are not aware of things which shows their incompetence. One has to follow a lot for services required . The good points are the ambience of the premises - retro in nature - good times with friend guaranteed if you have prepared all the amenities with you like a lodge

    Personal trip for art-hi visarjan. Pros : hotel is about 2. 5 km to sangam boat place. Staff seemed friendly and eager to help. Cons : dirty plates in the restaurant, mediocre food. Street noise, bathroom doors not fully closing is not vintage. Management should invest a little more money to make this a unique property atleast for the amount of money they are charging for a night.

    The hotel is located in a very small gully and it was horrible experience to reach. The building is too old and couldn't close wash room door. I Food at restaurant and breakfast were good. Staff was courteous.
