To find accommodation in the peak season at a place like Bir on such short notice was already a task, but we were lucky to find Wandering Bir. I booked the 6 bed mixed dormitory for a group of 5, with both males and females. It was a great property, the owner Ishan bhai is super generous and cool. The kind to understand the customers and does the best in his abilities for providing the best possible services and experiences. The cafe was still in works, but I'm sure that too will be a hit once on track. All basic amenities are covered, parking space for cars (mid size), washrooms are hygienic, good outdoor sitting area with space for bonfire as well as a bamboo terrace sitting area, from where the views are just mesmerizing. We were lucky to be there in time for clouds speeding away through that very space. As pet-friendly as it gets, Ishan bhai has the super-friendly Tappu over there for the dog enthusiasts. The last minute deals they offer are a steal. I'm really very happy with the experience and stay there. Not too far from the main Bir landing site, but just enough to spend the time you'd want in peace without hassle. Also, the roads are real good, yet the path from Whoppers to Wandering Bir in itself is a big adventurous patch. All in all, I'd give a 10/10 for the entire thing and personally, 11/10 for Ishan bhai for great hosting.
