Booked VLS Holiday Home through MakeMyTrip based on glowing 5-star reviews—a complete deception. The actual experience was disturbing, especially for families with elderly members.
We were assigned corner rooms on the first floor with no lift, despite clearly mentioning that we were traveling with elderly parents. We pleaded for help—the staff and owner were rude, uncooperative, and showed zero empathy. Meanwhile, ground-floor rooms were given to local young couples, and no effort was made to request room swaps.
No basic amenities were provided—no toiletries, toilet rolls, or proper towels. The TV had no remote, Wi-Fi didn’t work in rooms, and the reception was never staffed. Guests must walk up and down stairs for the smallest request—with no response.
There is no parking, and the approach road is a narrow, muddy lane—completely inaccessible with luggage. No help was offered.
This property is unfit for families, especially non-local guests. The reviews appear manipulated and do not reflect the harsh, discriminatory, and unhygienic reality.

Regarding your claims about our staff, we strongly disagree with the accusation of discrimination or deliberate neglect. Our team strives to treat all guests with equal respect and attention. Amenities such as towels and toiletries are always available upon request, and we apologize if they were not promptly provided during your stay.
As for the property access and parking, these are external limitations that we do our best to manage and communicate clearly in our booking details.
