I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding my recent booking through your platform. I have always trusted MakeMyTrip for my travel arrangements, which is why I chose to book with you despite direct hotel booking options being available. Unfortunately, this experience has severely damaged my trust.
I encountered several significant issues during my stay:
1. **Lack of Reception Welcome:** Upon arrival, there was no one at the reception to welcome guests or assist with check-in. It was unsettling to find no educated personnel at the counter to make us feel comfortable.
2. **No Drinking Water Provided:** This was a critical issue. There was no drinking water provided upon arrival, which is essential, especially when traveling with a three-year-old child and a wife. An elderly gentleman simply handed us the room keys and left, leaving us struggling to find water.
3. **Slow and Unresponsive Service:** All service providers appeared to be over 65 years old, which resulted in very slow service and a lack of understanding regarding urgent requests. We could not get tea, coffee, or even arrange for lunch and dinner. Despite my offer to pay extra for food, I was told it was not possible because it wasn't part of my initial booking.
4. **Unresponsive Manager:** The manager was completely unresponsive. Every time I tried to call him, he would repeatedly say "hello, hello" and failed to understand or address our requests.
Given this terrible experience, I regret to inform you that this will be my last booking with MakeMyTrip. I will also be sharing my negative experience with my friends and acquaintances, advising them against trusting your platform.
