The moment I booked the hotel, I regretted my decision and asked if I could cancel the stay within 5 minutes of booking, but I was rudely denied, saying "ek rupiya bhi refund nahi milega." Since I wanted an overnight stay just to take a break from my journey for 4-5 hours, I decided to continue.
The nightmare begins:
1) No valet at arrival. No worries, managed.
2) Arrived at the lobby, it smelled bad, and the vibe was also not very pleasing. Checked in, expecting the rooms to be better.
3) Entered my room, and oh god, it was worst. Really bad, smelly room.
4) Fungus spots in the washroom.
5) Got allergic to the bedsheet or pillow, maybe, and caught sneezing.
6) Checked out ASAP, and the receptionist had the audacity to say "Sir, bill 703.55 ka hua hai to we will charge 704," which cracked me up, and I smiled in denial.
7) Because I just wanted to leave the place asap, I forgot my charger in the room. Now, consider this: if a person can ask amount to be added to your bill amount, what could be the intention behind returning your assets? None! I called and the receptionist didn't even bother to check with his team and straight away denied as if he knew he had it but didn't want to help!
I am done with Altruist Hotels, even for an hour.
