Rooms are at second floor and we have to lift our own luggage. There was no soap and shampoo provided but only one towel for a family

I travelled with family for Maa Kamakhya Darshan. property location is good. Room was clean except the blankets. Size of room (Room number 201) was very small. Major issue was the non-availability of food service in the hotel. No nearby good restaurant. One of us got health issue during the stay so the food service unavailability was a major issue for us. Being Holi celebration, nearby small eateries were also closed. Service provided by the 2 guys at hotel was good.

I booked hotel through Make my trip while check inn i found hotel is horrible in condition and i found staff was also not supporting

Blanket is very badly smelled, pillow has lot of stain. The room is not habitable at all.

The stay in itself was pretty good. The location is just 5 mins walk from kamakhya gate. From there one can hire autos, shared rides etc to kamakhya temple which is approx 3kms away. The eating options are very limited around this locality. You can order home style food who are connected to the hotel and they will deliver in an hour. So there is no restaurant in house. The food was good. Tea is available only after 9am so that's a drawback. They provide electric kettle though which you can boil water for black coffee or tea(bags. There is no elevator, so you need to carry the baggage for 2 floors. But you can call the hotel boys and they will help. Do tip them. This place isnt as bad as some reviews online. But there are areas of improvement. Pros: closer to kamakhya gate. Decent facilities for stay. Easy accessibility to public transport. Not far for river cruise, umananda boat ride etc. Just 4 kms to these places. Cons: no lift(2 floors, so elderly will struggle. No restaurant so you need to order food and wait. Limited eating options around, unless ordering online. There are much better stay options in paltan bazaar for economical price, but will be far for kamakhya devi temple.

The hotel has no conventional night checkin facility.

Terrible smell in rooms and ac not working. There is no lift. It is room over priced and not worth money. Don’t take this room just because it is near to kamakhya temple

Very pleasant stay. Staff are super comfortable. Neat and clean property. Enjoyed staying here. Location is very close to kamakhya ma temple entrance gate below hill. From here 3. 5 km distance to the temple. During ambubachi all the hotels are full. Luckily found this gem of hotel in budget. Enjoyed staying here

Rooms are very small and also there is no restaurant so we have to take food from outside also hotel is located on 2 nd floor looks like apartment or lodges

It is a nice and clean stay at the hotel, nicely maintained property what i like the most is the way they helped me to get darshan - mama kamakya value for money i will visit them again

2 stars for its location and hospitality of staff. Hotel is at 2nd floor and not having lift. Too much sound due to railway track nearby. Food options are very limited specially breakfast. Linen were not clean.

No one to take the luggage to room and that was also by crossing two floor, poorest breakfast i had ever take thats also not on time, for bed sheet changing we have to tell them, but its there responsibility to ask for the same. Overall i dont suggest any one to book swastik inn to stay

Comments made above. I will not suggest for a decent family. Not worth for the money mountain view is good. There is a lot of scope for improvement. The property owner should attend to it
