I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service provided by MakeMyTrip (Goibibo) and the hotel I booked through your platform. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating.
Firstly, the hotel rooms were unclean and located near a drainage area, leading to an unbearable smell. Basic amenities such as Wi-Fi, a functioning TV, and even a toothbrush were not provided, which is unacceptable. Additionally, the food offered at the hotel was of terrible quality.
When I requested to cancel my booking for one day, the hotel management was unhelpful and outright rude. I sought assistance from customer care team multiple times, spending over three hours on the phone—only to receive no support whatsoever. The entire experience felt like a waste of time.
Moreover, the hotel operated like a marriage hall, with loud noise resonating through the premises well past midnight. Despite my requests to change rooms, I received no assistance. The hotel staff seemed indifferent, with only the electrician offering any resolution regarding the TV issue.
The food service was equally disappointing; I ordered biryani and was served a dish that resembled kichadi instead. Even after asking the hotel staff to prepare something they could cook well, the quality did not improve. Although I managed to change rooms the following day, I encountered the same issues with service.
It is evident that once a payment is made online, the hotel become unresponsive to issues related to room changes or cancellations. This experience has made it clear that the services offered by both parties are not up to standard.
I hope you take this feedback seriously to enhance customer experiences in the future. I paid more then 7K rent at hotel and service are poor . 2nd day, i had breakfast and dinner at outside due to poor food.
