In terms of location its perfect. All the visiting points are just few meters away. Room was clean and bathroom was spacious. Only thing that lacked was lights in the room and food in the restaurant is average and bit on higher side for the place

Excellent Stay
The stay was comfortable. The rooms were neat and clean. The toilets were also very clean. There were a few power cuts in between as mentioned in some of the reviews earlier. But that's nothing to do with hotel, more about the place as such.

Rooms were nice, bathroom was clean and all. But we stayed for two nights and no room service/cleaning was done, the waste bins were overflowing. The ordered food took like 30-40 minutes to arrive. Ordered food was nice but the complementary food took long and the portions were small. The overall service was terrible.

I stayed at the for one night and faced the following issues: 1. I booked a deluxe room. However, the room given to me under the name Delxue was very small. When I checked at the reception, I was told that the standard rooms are even smaller. 2. But the most significant issue was with the breakfast. I booked my room paying almost 600 rupees extra at the time of booking. Since I had a morning flight to catch, I asked at the reception whether the breakfast would be ready by 7.30 (although the menu card of the restaurant said 7 am). I was told that it would be ready. In the morning, when I went down, a guy who identified himself as the restaurant manager said it wouldn't be ready till 8 am. When I said I had to leave by 7.45, he said he would try. Then he came and told me at 7.35 that breakfast was ready. He gave me a menu card that had items barely worth 600 rupees (going by Puttaparthy rates). When I told him to get me one of the items mentioned there, he said it would take another 12 minutes. This meant I could not leave till 8 am, which was too late for me. Thus, I left without having breakfast. The attitude of the restaurant manager was the most disappointing. He was not concerned at all, almost giving the impression that he didn't care. He neither offered to pack the breakfast for me nor refund the breakfast charges. I told him that is not how you run your business, but I don't think it will make any difference to him. Next time, when I travel to Puttaprthy, I am not going to stay at this hotel.

Sai maa hotel is located within walking distance of prasanthi nilayam and right next to the sai general hospital. The room we stayed in was good - well maintained and all equipment functioned well. The overall maintenance of the hotel is very good. Wi-fi is good. The restaurant serves excellent food. Housekeeping can improve - mostly replenishment of water, coffee and tea had to be reminded on each day. Overall a good experience.
