Review Of Rann Resort Dholavira

Its a total sham property. There was no security, no reception. 1 villager met us and said there is no kitchen no food here as well. Showed us the rajwadi room which had lot of lizards. Dholavira doesnt have any airtel network, in fact no mobile data in 50 kilometers, so we asked for wifi. They have wifi but it was so far from our room that it did not catch it. Finally in 30 minutes of arrival we decided to dump this junk place and go to another property. Off course we had to let go our entire money in this case as no other option when you cant contact customer care from that ghost place. Terrible place, recommend everyone to completely avoid it.

The stay was good and the staff members were also very friendly. Overall it was quite a good experience.

it was a nice little resort in rann of kutch. the food was basic but excellent. the evening entertainment was also good and authentic unlike nearby hotels which had loud music. they also took people for sunrise and stargazing. the resort manager was very good and helped provide recommendations on what to see. only improvement I could recommend is to get a better geyser /hot water options.

staff is really helpful and tried really hard so we can enjoy our stay. i feel they should work on below things 1. restaurant should be working atleast 7:30 am to 9:30pm , as currently they serve only on fixed timings 2. ⁠ice cream/ cold drinks should be available 3. ⁠there should be television set but we really felt welcome and valued by staff

Before we could even reach the resort, our car broke down a few kms earlier. We called the resort and asked if they have a car, and we were surprised when the owner himself came to pick us up about 5 kms from the hotel. Then, we got a free upgrade for all of our 3 rooms! the rooms were nice and clean. The food at the hotel was basic local food, but it was good. We hired a jeep to take us to fossil park and sunset and that was an awesome experience! the driver was very nice and showed us around and even took us to his relatives' hotel for tea and refused to charge us. Later, the owner had arranged for a stargazing with a great telescope for everyone at the hotel free of charge! that was an unforgettable experience! overall, a great stay in the hotel, with great experience from all the staff and especially pravinbhai.

Property is close to highway and surrounded by Rann at the back side. We enjoyed sunset at the Rann from window of Rajwadi cottage that we booked. The Rajwadi cottage is spacious and car can be parked in front of your cottage. People also enjoyed evening music performed by locals. Food quality is good and local dishes were included. Staff found very positive and well behaved. People also enjoyed bonfire during chilling night. They also arranged star gazing at Rann location 15 kms away by respective cars escorted by their one of staff members. He took good care of all the customers..There was no TV, no in room service, no sofa inside the cottage, no kettle for tea/coffee, no WiFi inside cottage and many more that were written.

This is not a 3star hotel. Service was poor. Everything had to be asked for. Some of the staff did their bathroom jobs on the area behind the rooms. This is a beautiful location but not respected. There is no invertor even for a basic fan and light when the electricity goes. The dining hall is very basic. I paid over 10000 a night for a room with 3 people and even a small kettle was not provided.

Location of the resort is great, it is just next to road to heaven. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Manager was very supportive, he guided us on places to visit, timings etc. Thanks a lot for this! they also arranged for night star gazing at very nominal cost, that was a life time experience. The cultural song program was amazing and we enjoyed it. Only thing that could be better is cleanliness. There is certainly scope for better overall cleanliness. Food is traditional and okey. Rest all good!

Nice stay, nice hospitality by staff, overall great experience, it will be cherry on cake if rooms could have electric water kettle.

Property needs intercom, and wifi. Excellent location and great taste of food. The staff is also courteous and good. There is a slight foul smell and septic tanks need to be cleaned regularly
