Great property with a pool and near the Core zone entry gate. Loved the food and services

Tiger home resort is very near to the touria gate, room was clean apparently but the washroom was a little dark after switching on 2 lights even, needed to get a powerful light there, coming to the room again AC wasn't working properly, it made noise and spilled water from the indoor unit, room was not cooling enough, there were 2 ceiling fans but 1 of them was making weird sound and very disturbing for one to sleep.. There was an electric kettle in the room but no coffee, tea, milk pouches were provided. The food was delicious but very boring at the same time, everyday the same kadhai paneer and dal was provided with rice and roti in the buffet, breakfast was available after 9:30 am.. The kitchen was closed till 9 am..which wasn't mentioned at the time of booking. Specially if one needs to have a cup of tea he/she needs to wait till 9 am as there was no tea/coffee pouch available. Staff behaviour was very helpful and polite, reception and room service staff are very well behaved. The swimming pool was very dirty, dead insects were floating in the pool, the pool water hadn't been cleaned/ changed during our 3 night 4 days stays.. Only location is the key for this resort.

Pench tiger home is a perfect place if you are in pench for tiger safari via turiya gate. It is just opposite main gate from where safari starts, making it the most ideal location. It is not luxurious but decent place. Staff was courteous, arranged for hi-tea, dinner, packed breakfast during safari and lunch. The food was very tasty, we even met the chef and appreciated his skills. Rooms were much bigger, bed was decent. 24 hrs hot water was available. Verdict: definitely a place worth staying if your objective is only tiger safari.
