Review Of Pawan Hans Hotel

Hotel Pawan Hans located just at barkot entry. Main market is 10-15 min walking. Awesome view of barkot valley from balcony. No in-house restaurant but staff prepared lunch dinner on request. Overall nice. Taxi stand for yamunotri is 5 min walking.

MMT has good rating however hotel turned out to be below expectation. Room, service everything was bad. Not value for money. Also hotel called me multiple times as they didn't receive payment from MMT while I did an advance payment to MMT. Even asked for confirmation again while I had already confirmed with hotel on a call about the booking before going. Would need more choices on the hotels in Barkot.

Location of this hotel is OK on the main road but this hotel can be just compared with PG not a hotel. The room provided to me while it was deluxe room, was very bad. Window glass were broken. Room was very congested and no space to keep the luggage. No place to keep clothes. Toilet was dirty and water from toilet was continuous leaking. Not good facility of toiletry. No proper place to park the vehicle. Food also was just average quality with limited options. This was the worst hotel of my whole Chaar Dhaam Yatra.

It was really a value for money. Service was good. People were sensible. Room was clean enough to meet my satisfaction. Makemytrip offered me a great deal with discount. Room had all the amenities and all of them are very well maintained. I would be very happy to recommend this hotel to others.
