This hotel shows the wrong availability of rooms The room n bathroom are very dirty with no supplies. There is no intercom in the room. The water geyser is very small in the water pressure is also very low. There are insects all around the property. The staff is good and supportive. They try to help you with the best of their ability.

Our family had a wonderful stay at MTDC Fardapur during our visit to Ajanta Caves. The resort is perfectly located—just a few minutes’ drive from the caves yet quiet, surrounded by trees and open green spaces. It feels peaceful and close to nature, ideal for relaxation after sightseeing. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all essential amenities available. The staff were polite, helpful, and ensured our family felt well taken care of. The restaurant served tasty and fresh meals, and prices were reasonable compared to the remote location. Parking was convenient and secure, and the property felt safe even at night. Special mention for the calm ambience—nights were wonderfully silent except for the sounds of nature, which made our stay soothing and memorable. For anyone planning to visit the Ajanta Caves or wanting a family-friendly stay in serene surroundings, MTDC Fardapur is absolutely worth recommending. MTDC Fardapur is approx 3 km away from Ajanta caves. We stayed in non AC rooms. It can become uncomfortable in afternoon evening in October. Rooms are spacious. Recently renovated - amenities were inadequate. No water in rooms. Intercom was tucked in drawers. TV not functioning. There is a restaurant on site. Breakfast included in package was very limited. Overall food quality was passable. It is understaffed. There are lots of ants around the place being in remote area Parking is specious. Staff is decent.

Location is excellent to visit Ajanta caves. Food, amenities, services are excellent. Rooms are excellent. Only one thing I found out of tune a little bit.If insufficient guests are there they have a generator issue during power cut at night. As such I will give 4.5/5 as rating.

MTDC Property is nice clean & hygienic. In house restaurant also good service & quality. Thankyou MMT. there are 12 non AC Room & Size is sufficient for family.

Room smells of stagnant water and moisture room. Water pressure issue, shower is a first country thing.

this property alone is enough spoil MTDC and Maharashtra tourism in whole. Everything was wrong here. Most part of the time there was no current and the caretakers are not willing to switch on the genset. I had to beg them. the in house restaurant not functional. I found it locked all the time. Such a good investment very near to the world famous ajanta caves should have been a money spinner. when I asked the caretaker whether I have done a mistake by booking here. He said YES. So guys you decide.

Employees are well manner and polite behavior. Location is well Placed near highway and very near to ajanta caves. Food is very good and hygiene.

There is no toiletaties..staff is average..staff is not for customer, they just do work likeThey were acting as if they were doing a favor...give MTDC a corporate approach

We stayed in MTDC fardapur for 1 night(APR 1st week) in non-AC room, it was new Building room was spacious, clean. Towels and Soap were provided. There are no other decent hotels in vicinity to the Ajanta Caves. Had dinner at restaurant in premises, Food pricing and taste was value for money. Overall the best accomodation one can get near remote Ajanta caves, the property is about 10 mins in car to the caves.
