this property alone is enough spoil MTDC and Maharashtra tourism in whole. Everything was wrong here. Most part of the time there was no current and the caretakers are not willing to switch on the genset. I had to beg them. the in house restaurant not functional. I found it locked all the time. Such a good investment very near to the world famous ajanta caves should have been a money spinner. when I asked the caretaker whether I have done a mistake by booking here. He said YES. So guys you decide.

We stayed in MTDC fardapur for 1 night(APR 1st week) in non-AC room, it was new Building room was spacious, clean. Towels and Soap were provided. There are no other decent hotels in vicinity to the Ajanta Caves. Had dinner at restaurant in premises, Food pricing and taste was value for money. Overall the best accomodation one can get near remote Ajanta caves, the property is about 10 mins in car to the caves.

Mtdc fardapur is a beautiful resort. Stay was comfortable and the food quality was good. I have few few suggestions though - 1. They should start room service or atleast serve tea in the rooms. At present they don't serve anything in the room. You will have to go to the canteen for anything you want to eat or drink including tea. 2. Most importantly they should be more vigilant about the cleanliness of their toilet commodes. They are not properly cleaned. Thanks. Mtdc fardapur is a beautiful resort.
