Review Of MiaMadre

The room is exactly as shown in the picture. But the rule is very problematic. As they have 3 rooms but the entry is different and if you are booking room with the balcony view you cannot access the common area or the lobby area. The breakfast as shown in the photos are not like that. They do not provide fruits or toast bread or even omlete if asked for. They bring food from outside and serve you till the time you get it it's cold. Issue is also with jacuzzi as if there are 3 different families or couple you have to ask if anyone is using it so that you can use. Overall. I like the room and the behaviour of owner. But with the price it is listed it's not worth at all

We wanted to do Nandi trek in the morning but did want to drive all the way from Bangalore city that early in the morning. So we decided to stay at Mia Madre, have a good night sleep and start the trek in the morning . Mia madre villa is a lovely place exactly on Karahalli cross within a gated society. Nandibetta steps trek start point is about 15mins from the villa. The villa is very tastefully done and we were fortunate to get the room with views of Nandi hills. The rooftop again has lovely views and also has a massive jacuzzi. there were many indoor game sets and two bicycles as well. Both the owner and the caretaker are really sweet, warm people. We got a flat tyre after our trek and we managed to reach back only at 1130am instead of the planned 930am. But the caretaker, Asha, was patiently waiting for us and served a massive spread of breakfast and made a very refreshing cup of tea.
