It was a nice experience overall. Food was also nice. Service is as per the expectations. Price wise it was a little bit on the higher side. The surrounding area was developed with thoughtfulness. A lot of birds were there and the sound was very soothing and cheerful.

The property is well managed. Staff and host are amazing. Good local food, with ample variety. Clean facility and peaceful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for the second time and i must say, i love this place! the exceptional local food is definitely a highlight, and the setting of the cottages around the plantation is simply stunning. However, there are a few things that could be improved upon. Firstly, i would suggest that the hotel management adds basic toiletries such as shampoo, brush, hair dryer and moisturizer to the rooms. This would make the stay more comfortable for guests who may have forgotten to pack these essentials. Secondly, i noticed that there was no iron available in my room. While this may not be a problem for some guests, it would be nice to have the option to iron clothes if needed. Lastly, i would suggest offering bottled water as an option for guests. Even though the water from copper vessel is safe to drink, some guests may prefer the convenience and peace of mind of having bottled water available. Also to mention i dint find this place a good spot for celebrating any occasions like birthday, anniversary etc overall, my experiences at this hotel have been wonderful and i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic getaway. With a few small improvements, this hotel could be even better.

The maachli homestay is amazing place to visit in summer season as their is 32 degree outside but you can feel like winter season inside the stay. I have experienced the same infact i have switched off the fan. I have visited on 1st may 2023

Too isolated and boring, food is expensive with no other options nearby.

Fantastic food, excellent interaction with the owners, overall a great experience. Recommended for a 2 night stopover before hitting Goa.

The place is a hidden treasure which is right in the midst of dense tree cover. It felt like home with all the modern facilities. The food was homely and had unique flavors. Best part was the homely treatment and special item was Crab Curry. Highly recommend this place as a getaway from mad rush of city. The owners will make sure to engage with you and give you a fabulous experience of Village life.
