Though the outside surrounding garden areas (except the backyards of our room where dirty leaves of coconut tees are almost touching the window openings restricting the nice view of the flowing river) of the resort building is being nicely maintained, room walls are discoloured and dirty, which needs immediate painting. All the staff are very well behaved. Location is nice. Due to restricted view of the river from our room, we did not consider it worth paying such a high room tariff. Food though was very good and we enjoyed it very much.

Location is excellent! close to all major attraction and on the banks of bhagirathi this place has a lot to attract tourists this is my second time and looking forward to more in future the rooms are large & clean good good good housekeeping- scores in all segments

Nice place to stay in murshidabad. Very nice people of that resort. Excellent behavior & helpful staff. Food quality is excellent. The overall experience is 5 in the scale of 1-5.

Very very frustrated. They charged the food like 5 star but the quantity is too too small. Also they should offer buffet for breakfast but that was not there. Highly overrated for the room, food taste was good but this hotel is too much overrated. I never suggest anyone to stay here. Price is too much high and quantity is too low

Everything is okay type. Pillows not good. . Staffs were good. Breakfast was good. We stayed for a night. Can't complain on anything but i feel the price is on higher side for a hotel like this

A nice little resort by the banks of hoogly river, about 2. 5 km from hazarduari palace. Found it very calm and serene, perfect for your weekend visit. Quality of rooms, quality of food, staff behaviour, everything was excellent. I would highly recommend this resort.

The stay was amazing. The resort is very well maintained, neat and beautifully spaced out to give a view of the river front. We went on a river cruise as well with snacks on board. The food at the restaurant was exceptionally good, especially how they catered to our individual preferences. Staff was courteous and very responsive, even with the resort being nearly full during the republic day weekend.

We checked in at 11.30 am and the process was smooth. The resort nestled on the bank of Hooghly river amidst all round solitude in Lalbag area of Murshidabad town. We booked four no Standard Twin rooms with river view. We paid Rs per double room on bed and breakfast basis . Let us now move to the review of facilities and my experience ( Rating have been assigned in a Scale of 1 to 5 , 5 being highest):- A. Location : Located in the wilderness, nestled on the bank of the river , in Lalbag area , about 3 km from Murshidabadrailway station. The resort is well spread out with green lawn, flower beds and a well maintained river front (Rating 4.5). B. Room : The Standard twin rooms on the first floor that we booked were of modest size of 190 square feet with a verandah facing the garden and the river. Room was simple and modestly furnished with a large double bed with side tables on both sides, a wardrobe, a luggage rack, refrigerator. Bed mattress was slightly on the harder side, comfy with linens . The room was clean and have amenities like tea making facility. Adequate bottles of water are provided and tea pouches replaced every day. Toilet is big of moderate size and with a separate bathing area. Toilet is fitted with sanitary fitings of acceptable quality and geyser. Toileteries like shampoo pouches and body lotion were provided. Quality of toileteries were of descent quality. Room is well lit with good air conditioning with large window. Additional pillows and blankets are provided on request. You get a good view of the garden and the river from the balcony attached to the room. Room provides free wifi and signals are reasonably fast.(Rating 4 ) C. Facilities : The resort has all basic facilities that you require for a relaxed holiday amidst nature a small town like Murshidabad. There is a reception area , a multi cuisine restaurant, where buffet breakfast is served and all other meals are served on sit down basis There is a kid's play area . The breakfast is included in the tariff and spread is sumptuous. Room service is available . On request, bonfire can be arranged on the garden at an estimated cost of Rs. 4000 for two hours. The resort have their own boat and evening ride for 90 minutes is available at a cost of Rs. + GST Per person, that includes evening snacks and tea. The resort can arrange pick up and drop off at the station and also can arrange all sight seeing plans including tour guide .(Rating 4.5) D. Dining options: The hotel has a multi cuisine restaurant , where good variety of cuisines are served . The Bengali cuisine at this restaurant is truly nice and the chef prepares real good food with low spice and oil. The mutton curry and country chicken curry are two must try item at this place.(Rating 4.25). E. Overall service : The hotel has very well behaved team of staff at the reception and also at its housekeeping and dining room. All requests are met immediately with a smile. (Rating 4.75) F. Suggested improvement:- 1. The shower curtain length should be increased by another 5 inches. Else the water slippage after shower makes the rest of the toilets area wet that is a put off; 2. Towels looked worn out and needs to be replaced. Quality of towels needs improvement; 3. In my room no 204 there was no bedside reading lamp. This is a must; Overall: Location, solitude, space, river view and helpful team of staffs are the major plus points. (OVERALL RATING 4.25)

Location :outskirt of main town. Food :awesome. Service:good. Amenities: basic. Over priced room.
