Etremely Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Clarks Name
Honestly, this hotel was completely unexpected and disappointing. I booked it thinking it would live up to the Clarks brand, but the reality was far from it.
On the day of check-in, we were given a “Family Mountain View Suite”. There was no mountain and definitely no view. The room had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the washroom was not clean. The shower had major issues, and to top it off, the pillow covers had stains. It was absolutely unhygienic and not what you expect from a hotel of this brand and pricing.
After much hassle, they changed our room — the new one was slightly better, but again, no cleaning was done before we checked in. The room was dusty and poorly maintained.
The staff was extremely uncoordinated. I had to explain the same issue to four different people at different times. There was no communication between team members, and guests are the ones suffering because of it.
2 nights — this was absolutely not worth it. It felt like a basic, average hotel pretending to be premium.
The restaurant was decent, and the food was good, which is the only positive. But the overall service was awful. Also, the Wi-Fi never worked, and there was no proper network signal inside the room either. Staying at this hotel completely ruined my mood for two days.
I would never book this hotel again, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The experience was frustrating and nowhere close to what a Clarks property should deliver.
If you’re charging premium rates, at least ensure basic hygiene, cleanliness, service quality, and internal coordination. Otherwise, you’re simply wasting people’s time, money, and peace of mind.
