Review Of Hotel Ashlesh

Location is good , near MIT main campus and KMC, thus ideal for people visiting the institutes. However, don't expect the rooms and washrooms to be too clean. Breakfast is so so and very very limited choices.

It was a wonderful stay. Cooperative, polite staff, caring reception counter, especially the security guard. He helped me a lot. Neat & clean rooms.

i paid for a delux room, since it is a rainy season didn't think much on AC room, the cost difference was 100 maybe. the room i got was far from being worth of what i paid, fungus and mold growing in every corner. room looked it was last cleaned years ago, only cleaning i think they do is broom the floor, put a bucket of water in bathroom and done. lenin was torn, pillows and mattress were as hard huge and uncomfortable as possible (for a guy with neck problem this was a nightmare). in bathroom tap and spray gun was broken. atleast the fan works fine, lighting of the room was 2/5. there were stain marks on everything(towel, Lenin). the mirror was two way and there was suspicious huge block that was conveniently behind the mirror, one side was room mirror and other side was bathroom mirror(maybe it's my internet PTSD). weird cleaning staff. all in all i thought i was getting a good deal since the reviews were good enough for me as it was the closest hotel i could get to my reason of visit, it was definitely not worth it. hotel should be given 3 star at max. also no hot water in shower, only tap, who has shower and the hot water is not connected

The property is good. Food served is affordable and mostly delicious. The location is excellent from our perspective as we were visitors to Manipal Institute of Technology. Room service should be made a bit fast.

The property is near MIT, Manipal and thus convenient for people visiting MIT. The rooms were okay, however noticed dampness/black spots on many walls ( Heavy Rains). Limited Breakfast options.

I stayed here for my exam at Dr T M A Pai polytechnic.. it's very near and in easily accessible location. Rooms are clean and value for money

we have booked 2 room in that 1 room AC was not working and it was hot temperature when we have booked the rooms for 7 people hotel management given us small room which was uncomfortable to stay. overall bad experience and my family was unhappy to stay in will not recommend this hotel to any one. or remove this hotel option from ur list. and hotel staf at reception was not supportive and asking for extra charges for bigger room

the room was average and the housekeeping was not that good. They did not make the bed or replace the towels unless asked for. there were cockroaches in the room as well. However, the staff was kind and offered a room change when asked about it due to the cockroaches. The stay is average for its price.

The rooms were bad. The paint was peeling off, washroom was not maintained well, bed was hard, they gave us bedsheets to use as blankets. Needs a lot of maintenance.
